I dont know if its just me. I always pull the keys out of my pocket way before I reach the door. Sometimes while in the lift or while climbing stairs...
I do the same....even when I leave my office, the keys are in my hand before I even open the door to leave, even though its a bit of a walk to the car 🙂 But that's to the car of course....then when I get out the car, I've got my housekey all ready...strange but guess its a case of easier access
Me, too. I think it's true the hand has a memory of its own, because if I have lost my keys, my hand starts feeling empty and "lost" way before my brain figures out what I am missing.
I'm doing the same...but cause it takes soo long to find my keys stimes. I don't like standing in front of my door, rather search them in time..& it's always in the last pocket I check 🙂

Is it just me?
-wow...
