How to help my bf libra man cope up with sudden loss?

I myself am a leo/virgo cusp 23rd Aug and I suck at helping people cope up especially if they are away from me. (Mostly if someone dies)

His friend was murdered.

Yep. That's what I am doing but I find it hard say anything more than that. I can feel his pain. He would ask me to call him or he would call me up, I text him but still its.. complicated to deal. idk what to do

first, how did he take the loss? how is he behaving?

He cried while talking to me on phone. He is studying abroad and he would be back in a month. He is texting me in short breaks and trying to make ME feel better, I mean its weird he is worried about exams and wants me to focus but at the same time he keeps texting me.

hmm...yeah that is what i would do....worry about others....
try to cheer him up, dont talk about what happened all the time....he will get trough this loss by himself....be there for him, but show him that you are doing exactly what he is telling you to do, focus on your exams...
dont ever let him feel lonely...
he knows you feel sorry for what happened, and its enough...you dont have to remind him all the time...

i had friends remind me that life goes on in those hard situations, and that is how i pulled myself out of them, and i know its hard to loose a friend, a lost two
