Is this true Libras?

My ex tends to binge drink on Fridays and Saturdays...which tends to annoy me a bit. He is great Sunday thru Thursday cuz of work. When Friday comes..its time to drink. Now when I ask him, why does he do this..he told me its how and the only way that he found to reset himself. Is that true Libras? or does he have a problem? It just drives me a little crazy cuz he seems like he doesnt know how to stop sometimes..and when Sunday comes..it's recovery day, and we do nothing but stay home.

Yea i think so..esp when i want to do other things w/o him drinking. I just didnt know if it is another way for a libra to "reset"..u know balance back out.

I don't "binge drink" per se but I do enjoy a couple drinks on the weekends. I think it's more of the social aspect of getting together for drinks than anything (as well as trying each others favorite/new drinks since we all have different tastes), as I couldn't see a Libra drinking by themselves unless they're really an alcoholic.

While we're on the subject of drinking, I understand the whole mindset behind binge drinking, I just feel like it's douchebaggery (along w/ certain drinking games). Why can't you just drink & talk, go dancing, hit on women who are out of your league, etc. rather than down 12 watery ass beers as fast as you can w/ a ping pong ball that's been rolling around the floor? It's about enjoying the ride, not trying to get there quickly. Sloppy isn't a good look.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but the Libras I know aren't really club/ drink people. My Lib doesn't take alcohol except for a self-professed Baileys to which to drown his sorrows. Like others said, Libras tend to be social drinkers. They arent attracted to bars/clubs in themselves.

My Lib used to be a club hopper but when things got a lil bit serious, he wanted to show a tame side that prefers to stay home for whatever.

I hate it when a ram comes here to say Libras are weak and have no personalities when they drink. Stop the manipulative judgmentalism. I wouldn't insult people to get them to do what I think its right, and Aries tend to do that alot to Libras. Best Libras be away from these influences.

no. plenty of libras love to drink/party/etc just for the hell of it, but plenty more don't care for it. if a libra needs to drink on the weekends to "reset", they have another influence at play. i'm going to guess a strong mutable influence, likely virgo or sagittarius, in their chart.

the purest libras i've known, chart-wise, will drink for social reasons, just something to do to hang out with people, really. the ones i've known who developed a major problem had virgo venus conjuct mars. virgos with virgo venus conj mars are also the worst drinkers among their sun sign. i think it's because virgos are known to get kind of repressed and tightlywound, and to need a release. a pure libra is usually naturally pretty chill, and won't need to drink.

a very pure libra i know was a supposed drunk when we met, around 20 years old (i'm 26 now, he's 27). after a few years, he just started losing interest. kinda around the time that he left the college kid party life and starting living like a grown up.

Im curious...How do I find out the influence at play in his sign?

My Libra sister drinks alcohol (and sometimes we joke that shes an alchie lol) and pretty much the rest of my family. I don't really see it as a Libra trait so much. They might do it while having fun or to relax. Thats really all I know in regards to Libras and alcohol. Also when I think binge drinking I imagine something along the lines of "hardcore" partying (dunno if that makes sense lol).

um. i didn't emphasize the conjunct. i emphasized the mutable influence. and mars in sagittarius is a strong mutable influence. and it's conjunct his uranus, which can be pretty big for drinking issues.

i simply used conj in virgo as an example of libras who will behave in ways that are not typical of a libra without a strong mutable influence like that.

i hate it when people expect stuff handed to them. if you want to understand the basics of a chart, learn about astrology. a reading from a stranger can never be as good as what you can figure out yourself about a person you actually know.
