Libra Friend (continued)
I wasn't overly thrilled to find out that my friend was in town and I hadn't been told. However, I wasn't going to make an effort to find her. I told my mom "fine, don't worry about it"
However, after thinking about it for a while, I dropped by the resturant where my friend, a friend and her family was. I said hi to the family and basically ignored my friend.
Whatever my friend is thinking, I don't know. However, I was trying to make a point to my friend that she will have to deal with me eventually.

If the friendship means more to you than the current dynamics why don't you solve it for the both of you? She probably feels awful about it all and really does not dare communicate with you. This would then be because she KNOWS she should have got in touch long back but emotionally couldn't, and she's wrong and the thought of an argument with a loved one before actually making up puts her off from picking up the phone.

Libra - DONE. I sent an email to my friend indicating that yesterday officially closed the books on the problem. I'm not sure why, but I feel ok after yesterday. I know it wasn't the most positive for anyone but I acheived the sense of closure that I always needed.
I told my "friend" that I would like to remain friends if she would have me. We'll see what happens.

Thanks - I found out that it was my friend's MOM that requested she not tell anyone she was in town.
I called my friend's parents to apologize for my behavior. Her mom mentioned this to me. I felt somewhat dumb after that...so I also left my friend a VM to apologize for jumping to conclusions....I guess a very ARIES trait. 😄

For all you Librans who gave me comments the first time around, you will be happy to know you were right. I talked to my friend's brother (interestingly...also a Libra) who said my friend was...well...."having issues" and was under a lot of pressure.
I guess I didn't help things out obviously. However, what's done is done. I have been advised yet again to leave things alone and let her come around.
Basically - yup, I'm just going to leave it alone and life will go on until my friend feels like it's time to come around again.

Well, if some of you recall, I posted a message about my old "Libra" friend a few months ago. Thanks for all those who put up messages. It's now August and nothing had happened. I had not emailed/called my friend for nearly 3 months. I had heard nothing from her as well. For the most part, I had put this issue aside and decided that it was out of my hands.
Fast forward to late last week. A mutual high school friend of both me and my "Libra" friend sent me an instant message. He was asking if I knew where our Libra friend was. I guess he hadn't seen her online for a few days. I told him I would hardly be the ideal person to know this. My friend mentioned that he thought she was on vacation but wasn't sure. I know my friend meant well, but I wasn't in much of the mood to talk about my Libra friend.
However late last night, I suddenly had this "gut" feeling that my friend was indeed on vacation. Ever better, I had this sense that she was actually in town. I actually tried a way to determine if my feeling was right but did not get an answer.
I woke up today with my Libra friend not even in my mind. I was going to go with my mom to help drop off some bottles/cans for recycling. We headed to one local mall to shop around. I was looking around for some stuff as well as a wedding present.
We both didn't find anything and so we headed to another mall that was about 10 minutes away. I had some stuff I definitely wanted to get at the other mall. Along the way, I decided I wanted to get some exercise before going to the other mall. There was a near by basketball court near the other mall so I asked my mom if it was ok if she came along for a few minutes (it was a little hard to drop her off and came back around). She said that was fine. This would prove to be a interesting decision.
After shooting some hoops. my mom and I headed to the mall. After we parked, my mom headed to one store while I headed to another store. About 5 minutes later, my mom called me.
She said "Hey, your Libra friend's parents are here at the mall. Your friend is meeting them for a early dinner". (My mom did not know I hadn't talked to my friend in a while).
