Libra - harvest?

How many Libs just sit and wait and flash their megawatt smile, and things fall into their laps? (of course working for it too!) as opposed to fighting and taking things by force?

I find when Libs channel the Aries energy they almost always fail. I say Libra is the harvest season. Just sit there and effuse the pheromones of attracting your desire (in any aspect), you will get it.

disclaimer: if it was meant for you (remember Libra doesn't take things by force) - they only harvest what is theirs this life, and it is plentiful.

but she also gets people (friends and relatives) to give her things she wants..and it seems like her attitude is 'i wanted it and they wanted to give it to me..so where's the problem'..not always black and white of course, but i think it's pretty funny 🙂

I always give back presents. If she takes and doesn't give back then she feels they're indebted to her in some way ha! Then it's up to the friends/ relatives to decide if she's a moocher.. if she is, cut her off.. no loss either way.

I have tried being the Aries-type warrior.. doesn't work. It's better to wait for things to fall on my lap. They usually do.

Hmmm... the way my love life has been lately I'm not sure that happens to me! In other parts of my life, I think I'm hindered by the fact that I'm not very good at receiving. Weird - that just occurred to me.

I agree though that forcing things never works for me. It's stressful and I don't come across well. Maybe I need to sit back more and wait.... LOL

Eh, I don't avoid all battles..I just tend to only choose my battles where I'm certain I have good chance of winning.

I don't like going into anything 'blind' and on the 'seat of my pants'...not good at that t all. I don't like playing the Lotto, I don't like letting my efforts or energy be put into a 'game of chance'. Why? when I could be using that energy to something more effective.

and my ex-communicated best libra chic friend..we'd go out to dinner and i would think we were splittin' the bill and when the check came..she either couldn't find her credit card, go to the bathroom, or look at me like 'you're gonna be a man and pay the bill, right' and i'd look at her like 'you're not my gf' and she would look at me like 'you're paying for my entertaining presence' and then i would pay lol

As for your ex comm libra friend, I think that you spoil her too much, plus she just knows you would pay, and would like to be the one footing the bill. Just split 50/50 if you wouldnt like to foot everything.

I'm lucky enough to have had accommodations, jobs, friendships and other joys of life fall into place, requiring little-to-no effort on my part. It isn't usually that simple; nearly all things worth having require effort to acquire and as well to maintain.

At extremes, I have seen Aries determination manifest itself in ways that resemble desperately forcing square pegs into round holes and attempting to walk all over anybody in their path, as well as Libras taking such blatant advantage of other peoples' resources, time, etc. simply to make it easier on themselves by taking the proper steps to obtain these things on their own. Both should be avoided at all costs IMO.

Libra is quite lucky, although I admit I have met/ heard of some in unfortunate situations.
Libra is very much the sign of karma - law of balance, and if one continues following that law, they will be lucky.
One factor is a clear and peaceful mind also.

Saturn is in Libra, so maybe it's the hand of Saturn making you work a bit more for soul growth.

Yeah, also NOW and quick doesn't necessarily work for Libras. If Libra jumps in too quickly in order to be first, the sure feel regret later on. I have tried channelling the arien energy to help me complete tasks ( and believe me I know it all too well ) but it seldom works for the big stuff. You just gotta wait for some of the better stuff..

You have an aerial view of both signs - and this can be helpful. Moon and Sun aren't the same and can be quite differently manifested.

I have a Libra friend who is also jumping right in and being quick. It usually works alright for him although it means he skips from one thing to another. It always surprises me as I'm so measured and I take my time to weigh up the issues. Any thoughts about what other aspects he might have that might make him less like a Libra in that respect?

I think that's a strategy he has employed. I'm speaking in the most general of terms, which I'm aware doesn't encompass everything. It pays to be quick/ dexterous in some things as well, but I know the main mojo of libra is to wait.


That's the main reason Aries get attracted to libra - they see Libras passivity and think they can get libra to do whatever they like to fulfill their need for controlling others.

I think libra can be quick when they have mastered some aspect of their life/ skills and can find the mOst efficient way of doing things.
Being quick to reactions can denote a Martian moon or mars aspect to moon.

Also, sometimes it's the external environment that makes libra miserable. Controlling relationships should be exited because libs are usually placed in chaotic environments where they try to make peace. They shouldn't bother all the time - and should pick/ choose the right people to place their trust in. Libs can be a bit naive in this area.

Depends. Sometimes sitting around and smiling doesn't get me anything but more smiles from puzzled onlookers.

I usually like to go out and grab whatever I've set my heart on. Quite often, it works.

Although I won't deny that I have been, on occasion, pleasantly surprised (while sitting around idly) by life dropping a few coveted gifts in my lap. 🙂

I wasn't talking about you...I understood your post fine. I was talking about myself...and putting a different spin on your concept of "harvesting".

One can say harvest, one can say 'waiting for things to happen for you.' one can also say 'taking a calculated risk'. It's just different ways of looking at it. That's all.

Ok you interpreted my idea of "harvest" as a bimbo sitting on a plush chair charming the money/socks/opportunities off people/circumstances, but that wasn't what I meant, although I know how it looks easy to misconstrue.

I think maybe I am stretching this concept a bit far. I think it works for the Saturn-ruled Libras. When I meant sit and wait, it is really because there isn't anything better for them to do than to wait. For some huge milestone things, you can't just grab them and think you have won them because of your assertiveness/ dominance. As Libra seems to follow the concept of "dao" which means "flow".. oe just goes along with it and it does appear to "magically" fall into place.

Though I also understand how some things need to be grabbed before they are gone.. I am speaking of huge milestone things.
