OMG. NEVER debate with a Libran. I know this man.. i spar verbally against him on a daily basis. Been trying to beat him in a debate/arguement for 10 years now...with no luck. Truly your sign produces the smartest, sneakiest, and most clever people ever! And it just doesn't help that this man is my dad and also happens to be a lawyer *sighs*
Why librans? why? Do you all have to be so good at winning an arguement?!

Just had to get that off my chest.. phew -_-

He's teaching you how to be a good lawyer
Plus giving an ego stroke to himself in the meantime 😉

Two birds with one stone

It's actually easy to win a libra in debate. Do the unfair "forcewin" or manipulate and bend the truth. Of course you wouldn't do that, you're just 😉

I wish i could do that. But im dealing with someone whos wayy more manipulative n smart. even if i win, he will make sure he doesn't give me the satisfaction of victory 😡 Or makes it look like a pity win 😐 arrggh! n when i get crazy mad he declares emotional victory over me T__T my dad bullies me too much...lol

And unemotional..
I took on 5 or so chauvs In a debate before trying to intellectually bully me 😉. Thing is there are
Loopholes and only argue a point when you know what you're talking about. There's no way of losing in that case.

see..thats the thing here. librans are smart that way. my dad starts a debate with me making sure that the topic of discussion is very subjective..so that it cripples me from shooting facts n dissing his points >_

the one good thing about libras debating is that we pretty much never take it personally. it's just in good fun. if anything, the more passionate my debates with people, the more i end up liking them. i've really surprised some people with that. they'd think i hated them, and i'd be like "no way, you're one of my favorite people. i'm gonna send you a christmas card."

kinda makes me sad that people take that stuff so personally sometimes.

i don't debate much anymore, because i've usually got better things to do, and too many people act like internet trolls with all their logical fallacies and attempt to change the subject. it's too frustrating to be fun.

Totally agree with how debating Libra's never take the debate personally. I've been partnered to a Libra (sun and moon) for over a decade now and he is a talented debater, super logical and absolutely nonemotional in his debates. He always will take the opposite side in any opinion I hold simply to explore the opposing perspective. I'm an Aquarius so I find it rather amusing and have learned how to hold my own with him and offer him new points he may not have thought of to support my position, but he hardly ever concedes, even if I am right. He just loves the thrill of arguing perspectives, it's like something in him will not rest until the opposing viewpoint has been thoroughly presented. It used to really get on my nerves until I learned he just does it as a mental exercise and then I saw it as a interesting challenge.
