To not get so emotionally involved when dating someone??

They say its supposed to get easier with each breakup, but Idk..seems like each one is more disappointing than the one before it.
Why is it that we Librans invest so much, so soon?? Or is it just me who always gets overly excited with new prospects??

Maybe im in love with the idea of togetherness more than anything else. Hmmm

If you are a Libra you are ruled by Venus , the godess of love - so yep you jump right in ! When I was dating I had my heart broken plenty because of this . Guess what ? It's their loss !!! they could have had you -and missed out. Someone who appreciates you will fill that void someday I'm sure 🙂

Well I think Libran's do not get so emotionally involved while dating someone.

I am in love with a Libra guy and he was very nice as long as we met, but the day I asked him whats up and where are we heading & told him about my true feelings for him.

Poof !!!! he was gone, now he behaves so distant. he just said "our thoughts do not match" & he was gone.

I am not sure if Libran's of this kind feel miserable at all !!

I am a Libra and I have to say that I do jump in with both feet.. Sad I know... sometimes it's a good thing but sometimes it's the worst.. right now I am head over heals for a cancer.. I care so much for him but I feel like me spilling my guts to him has pushed him away eventhough he has told me how he feels.. grrr!! :/

Oh boy Libra/Cancer can be a toughy , although my mom is a Cancer and we get along for the most part..

No we don't feel miserable, but here's why; when we hear that you like us we are flattered, but if we don't feel the same way about you we will take off because we don't want to lead u on any further and cause u anymore "rejection pain". Trust me though.. We defiantly don't feel good about ourselves when this happens.

I never thought about that.. So if Libra man doesnt run when I tell him I really like him etc.. but he doesnt say anything.. unless asked directly.. what could that mean?

I'm a saggie and he is a libra, he is living out of state and we kept in touch for 2 years now.. He only tells me that I am special and that's why he hasn't let me out of his life..

I'm crazy about my Libra/Scorpio cusper... BOTH signs are notorious for jumping in with both feet (according to the consensus on this post.. came here wondering).. but I'm getting the "I dont want to be emotionally involved" line. Kind of wondering which part of it he's lying to himself/paying lip service to. But I'm afraid to ask, in the fear that any pressure = run away screaming.

He likes u then chicksag. Since he lives out of state he probably has doubts that a relationship with u could work out. I have completely dropped girls out of my life for the simple fact that they live to far away for me to see them. If he hasnt done that yet, it means hes hoping that it will work.

i'm a libra, trust me. i'd do the same thing if that thought never crossed my mind.
i;d just freak out and literally *poof* and try to cut all contacts, probably succeed too.

you're not alone. I fell for this Cancer female. man i don't think i'll ever get out of it.

I think, i get too emotional sometimes. i call it "My weakness" LOL
but never the less, sometimes that switch goes off. and i can "rawr" hurt 😛

I am dating a Libra. He really did jump in with both feet in very deep water. He was ready to tell me the "L" word after like a month and a half. Being the Virgo I am, I told him that we need to slow down and that I cannot just jump in that fast. I do not like being rushed and I like to think he appreciated it. I love how loving and caring he is, but I cannot handle too much of that too fast lol. I ended up telling him that he cannot say he loves me until at least the 6 month mark. Harsh I know, but I would rather tell him when I know I feel it, rather than saying it back just to not leave him hanging.

We also are very quick to end things. I just had a scorp chick that I was wild about, but she was young and off the rebound and told me "I still like my ex. So we should slow it down". Once I heard that I vanished. I still have that twisting feeling in my stomach.. We hooked up way 2 early... Within the 1st two days. That night was almost too amazing. Karma evened it all out. I went from feeling like a million bucks 2 absolutely worthless. I think us libras take things to personal sometimes. Peoples situations always need to be considered. It's defiantly sad when it doesn't work out, but u always learn more about yourself when it happens. The pain can teach u alot
