libra rational thinker?

Hi,

i found this article online and cant help thinking about how libras process their thoughts. please share your views =)

Here are 10 irrational thoughts that rational people often fall victim to at one point or another:

1. Mistakes are never acceptable. If I make one, it means that I am incompetent.
2. When somebody disagrees with me, it is a personal attack against me.
3. To be content in life, I must be liked by all people.
4. My true value as an individual depends on what others think of me.
5. If I am not involved in an intimate relationship, I am completely alone.
6. There is no grey area. Success is black and failure is white.
7. Nothing ever turns out the way you want it to.
8. If the outcome was not perfect, it was a complete failure.
9. I am in absolute control of my life. If something bad happens, it is my fault.
10. The past always repeats itself. If it was true then, it must be true now.

i can agree with all but #2. my cancer stepmom can take anything whatsoever as a personal attack, so i have a hard time taking anything at all as a personal attack. i'm not sure if it's because of her, or just how i am.

usually if someone is mean to me, i'll be more upset that they have poor enough manners to come out with it than i will be upset over how they feel about me. criticise me however you like, but for heavens sake, be diplomatic about it.

here's one...if it's bad, i caused it. if it's good, it's just luck.

if someone is mean to me, it's because i suck. if someone is nice to me, it's because they're a nice person. stuff like that.

any other libras think like that?

Wow I can't even agree with half of what is on the list :S

Hey Guys I'm a libra and I gotta disagree on lots of points here lets take it one by one :

1. If I make a mistake then I learn from it, though mistakes are not in my agenda that much .. I like everything perfect 😄
2. Hell no !! , when someone disagrees with me that means he/she has another perspective. I don't like to take it personal especially with whom i don't care about.
3. Well hmmm, I feel relieved when ppl like me 😄 coz I know that I'm good and I never try to hurt ppl.
4. sometimes its true with whom we care about but mostly we have confident in our selves, do Libras agree with me —
5. I need to be loved and in love to feel totally happy and secure coz our lover is everything in our life.
6. Yep, it either success or fail, but it takes time to things turn out good for us.
7. well that is due to our satisfaction, were not always satisfied of what we have got.
8. not totally failure
9. True.
10. we live in reality, were no dreamer !!

Our most horrible attribute is were indecisive 😢 but when we take a decision then we have thinked it all over with no regrets and no turn around !

I agree with Angel, 6 & 9 were only maybe's for me but No to everything else for one reason or another 🙂

wow thank you for the inputs guys =) this post is in no way saying that this is how libras think. but since libras are such a rational thinker i wonder how true this is, and how many libras agrees/disagree with this list and if not why?

i have libra moon and yes most of the things mentioned in this list i do not agree with it at all =) cheers
