Libras want everyone to like them...

Have you all heard this? Libras - Do you find it true? Do you believe that some Libras are doormats?

I've got a lot of Libra-"ness" in my family/friend circle. It seems that you guys really try hard to be well-liked. This is a thoughtful quality, but I do not understand why Libras TRY so hard.

My bf and I talk about this subject a lot; and we always tend to hit the same disagreement. I could give a $ &% # what people thought of me. I say whatever I please (us Cancers are brimming with emotion.. there's no way it can be bottled! LOL) and I don't think twice when doing something new.

Also, I can't stand it how my bff and my bf let people take them for granted! It seems that they are always saying YES to everything.

The reason why I am asking this is because it seems that after all the dust has settled, these guys have a ton of crap to deal with, and they aren't too happy. Maybe I'm just being a typical loyal/protective Moon Mommy...But why create this for yourself? Just tell em to eff' off!

god yes. i'm a total people-pleaser to my core. we definitely need to be liked by others. libras actually have quite bad self-esteem, despite all the preening appearances. those that spend the most time in front of the mirror don't like what they see.

I like to be liked, but I want others to like me for who I am not for some image I can project.

I find that I can be like a chameleon and be exactly what people want most. But that isn't always satisfying to me.

Very recently, as in the last couple of weeks, I've had to really put my foot down about things. I had to tell one guy to cool it, not to call or text anymore but I failed when another I am not interested in asked me out.

I think Libra's really don't like to disappoint. That is, until you get on their bad side. Then they could give two craps about you and your opinion of them.

I just don't give a F U C K what people think about me. I will try to be peaceful and friendly after a bad situation has happened. The strange thing is that once I see we are okay, I usually don't continue with the freindship or relationship. Guess i get satisfaction from knowing it ended peacefully. I don't think that means I want to be liked, i just want peace.
