Life is Good

Just a quick update to those interested: My boyfriend and I have gotten back together. We really weren't apart for long until he showed up at my door and said he hadn't been fair to me and realized that our relationship was the best he's ever had. He said that what we have is something he'll never find with another person...his words, "I'll never have this again. What you and I have is something I didn't have with my ex-wife and I know it's something that I'll never have again if I lose you...I think you are the best relationship I've ever had; actually, I know you are the best relationship I've ever had."

We talked for a bit after that. For now, things are back on track. We're basically just picking up where we left off. I don't expect him to change drastically and what he said is a good feeling because it does help validate my feelings and sentiments for him and our relationship.

Now that I've typed all this, I wonder if I even gave the news that we decided we needed a short break...oh well.
