DMT- Consciousness

In case any of you aren't aware of what DMT is, it's basically a psychedelic compound found throughout the plant kingdom. It exists in all of us naturally, animals, plants, human beings, every single organism on our planet contains DMT. When ingested it gives us a psychedelic experience much like that of LSD- but many scientists would claim it to be in a "higher realm" than LSD. There is no real or concrete explanation for the significance or reason why DMT is inside all of us. Some claim that it's what creates consciousness. It's a great mystery- consciousness. Why are we alive? Why are we aware? There seems to be something greater and deeper that binds us. Our individuality- our subsistence. Something we can't pin point binds us all, despite the plethora of our drastic differences. And none of us can comprehend it in my opinion.
DMT is said to be released in our minds before we fall asleep, right before death, and during birth. What are your opinions about it? I find it sort of ironic and a little sad that something which is possibly essential in life and consciousness is illegal to ingest or experience. Scientists seem to have a fun time running tests and experiments with it 😉.

No no no! I didn't, I just think it's interesting that it naturally exists in every living thing. I actually saw a documentary about it and god excited.

I think thats when shit goes whack though. Its no longer your body producibg it and its excessivr. Its like eating. You must eat just enough, if you have littke or more its not good.

Some people would like to think of ingesting it as an extraordinarily high amount of our typical creative energy and ability to think existentially. I think more research should be done with it - I'm not saying kids should all hang out and take the chemical compound lightly or use it every single day of their lives. However, I really do believe that it offers something more than LSD and other psychedelics when it comes to a higher form of thinking. I wouldn't say it's either bad nor good, just as like other things in life which are vital..it exists and it serves a purpose.

I believe it's most commonly referred to as a psychedelic compound. Hallucinogenics are compounds which are proven to have shown alterations in perceptions- Psychedelics alter your perception in the way of your entire consciousness. So really you could call it either one I suppose, whatever floats your boat 🙂

When I mentioned meth, I meant to ask: is dmt like meth in a sense that the high last for days?

No actually a DMT trip only lasts for typically about 10-15 minutes. But can take up to an hour to be completely back to normal.
