Fame

I don't think I'd like being famous.

I'd rather have the PAYCHECK, w/o all the fame. And YES that's def. possible.

I was reading an article in Time Magazine that talked about how the paparazzi always know where/when to find certain celebrities b/c they've put GPS tracking defices on their homes, cars, things, etc. That's crazy!

I can't imagine (nor would I ever want to) 10 people with cameras sitting outside of my house 24 hours a day watching me or waiting on me to slip n fall, mess up or do something that could earn them big $ $ . I can't imagine not being able to go do little things like grocery shopping or working out without 10 body guards around me 24-7. I can't imagine having 100 cameras damn near blinding me every time I walk out of my house. I can't imagine all the threats & hate mail. I can't imagine the horrid look on my children's face when they at 2 yrs old see all these strangers following them.

I can see why alot of famous people wish they could go back to being normal again. There's a huge price they pay for being famous. If they mess up or make any mistakes (like 99% of the rest of us humans) they are talked about like dogs & their lives/reputations can even be ruined b/c of some "story" some tabloid did. I can see why even the most richest & famous people end up depressed, on drugs & suicidal

Hell most of us can barely take 2 people on this board targeting us & trying to "ruin us" let alone 500,000 people & webpages that are literally dedicated to hating you & trying to find something that could ruin your life, reputation & career. Most of us can't even handle our closest loved ones scorning us simply b/c we made a mistake b/c approval is something we all seek in some way. I couldn't imagine knowing that there's a website out there strictly dedicated to hating me!

And no, I don't believe that someone not being able to handle fame is someone who is "weak."

I think it's only human nature to NOT ever get used to or be ok with certain things. It's human nature for someone to be a bit disturbed when they get hate mail from random strangers threatening to kill their entire family on a daily basis. Even the strongest person on earth couldn't help but to be disturbed at ANYONE threatening their family & livelihood

The fact that you talk about it means you think you're gonna be famous one day 😛
