Feng Shui

Does anyone here know a good bit about Feng Shui? I need help with a specific problem.

My understanding is that mirrors can be in bedrooms, but that they can't reflect the sleepers.

My issue is with a staircase. It has bad feng shui for sure, but I can't very well move the stairs! I've tried posting on feng shui forums elsewhere, but am not getting helpful feedback.

Only if the room is shaped a certain way, actually!

My room mate was from laos and she had a mirrored wardrobe and she always had a bookshelf next to her bed to block the mirror.

You want to set your rooms up in a way that if a man with a money bag with a hole in it was to walk into your room you want him to spend as much time in there so you get all his money lol

The way I feng shui is that every point of view from where a person is seated needs to be beautiful and catches the eye deliberately...

irregular rooms will give u sleep problems. my room is irregular now. a rhombus.

Yeah! My bedroom is a nightmare of geometry. Sloped ceilings and dormers.

No mirrors in the bedroom. That's for sure.

really? So no mirrors above the bed?? that'd be kind of scary if you wake up and then both you (your SO and you are in a nightmare or something)

i used to read feng shui books. they're all over the internet too to read up on.
Yeah said something about if you have mirrors reflecting the bed, you will have another 3rd party joining your life, which is a mistress or lover and NOT in a good way. Sounds horrible!!

also read that, in truth, if you're a good person deep down, even all the bad situated furniture won't touch you. And those who are really bad to others, and still have good feng shui furniture situated will still get shafted badly, like have bad things happen to them. sounds more like karma.

Don't have entrance doors to your abode under a pointed roof, or for business meetings for that matter.
To answer the staircase question--when a person enters, their attention should not be drawn to the staircase, but drawn to other places on the main floor. This means paintings, artwork, or layout of furniture and decorations that draw the energy and help it spread out rather than rushing into and up the staircase.
