I know there are no Dinosaurs alive today, unless you count their descendants- The Birds and their cousins Crocodilians. But have you ever wondered what it would be like to hunt a dinosaur down, cook the meat and eat it? I always thought it'd taste like Turkey or Chicken. Man I'd love to hunt a T-Rex down and eat one. I bet they taste better than pigeon. Pigeon meat is like a fortune cookie wings it tastes so good. :d hunger 😄

After you seasoned it did you wash it down with a chilled glass of sauvignon blanc?

Nah. I just drank some cranberry wine (It's pretty good too) to go down with it. I have unfortunately never tried Sauvignon Blanc. And I bet my father would be proud. I wish my cooking was as good as his. But unfortunately the student will never beat the master.

Probably tastes like chicken.

Makes sense since Velicoraptor is an ancestor of chicken.

Hmmm....

brown rice and boneless fleshless Velicoraptor breast...

Actually it's more of a descendant of Birds of Prey like the Peregrine Falcon. It's actually been stated the Tyrannosaurus is the ancestor of the chicken so yeah,

You planning on weight lifting during time travels?

Shoot I might as well train under 100x gravity and go Super Saiyajin while I'm at it lol. Nah but I'll wait for someone to find a way to extract Dino DNA and then I'll be making some Triceratops steaks. Cowpuncher should get in on this since we'd have fun making some and he's an expert in cooking.

I ate a fried alligator po' boy(sandwich)at a restaurant when I was a kid, before I went vegetarian.

Expected the reptile meat to taste exotic/distinct but discovered the opposite was true. If I hadn't known better & someone said it was a chicken sandwich, I'd believe them just going by the taste, color & consistency of alligator.

I'm thinking dino meat was prob similar to poultry as well. Since alligators are, more or less, dinosaurs that didn't go extinct.

Several of my books about poultry make the claim that chickens, (or gallinaceous birds in general like chicken, pheasant, etc) are the T-Rex's closest living relative.

I'm not sure of the truth or falsehood of that statement, but I have seen it, and if you see them out chasing bugs in the yard on a sunny afternoon.. you tend to believe it. They are constantly hunting bugs and worms, all day long, as long as there's enough light. In fact I keep them as much to control bugs as for the eggs, since I live right by a creek. They work wonders for that.

They will also happily eat anything small enough to choke down. My nephew witnessed my old rooster catching and eating a mouse. Voracious hunters.

So maybe the chicken/T-Rex relationship is true? dunno.

Yep. They say it's true. So I'd assume a T-Rex would taste like a chicken. A very big chicken that many people would probably die trying to kill it so they can eat it.
