Can you defend those 250 motorcyclists in NY who boxed in, followed, then beat that man?!!!!!!

He was minding his business on the highway when 250 (I repeat 250) motorcycles surrounded his truck. He tried to get away from them, but they followed him (Proof that their intentions weren't good to begin with/Proof the truck driver wasn't trying to start any trouble)

As soon as he did that, they got close to his tires & slashed them, then boxed him in again!

Ok, yeah...at that point, I would've ran plenty MORE of them over!!!

That man had every right to assume & believe that his life, his wife's life & his daughter's life was in danger

People are defending those thugs as if they didn't deserve that. BULL. If someone starts a fight using a motorcycle or car as a weapon, expect for the person in immanent danger to react!

What he was he supposed to do, stop the car entirely ON THE HIGHWAY?? (which could've caused a massive pileup on the highway due to that many motorcycles irresponsibly weaving in & out of traffic to begin with!)

1 of the guys he ran over is in the hospital with a coma. I feel bad for the guy & all but hey, self-defense doesn't always means that the original victim comes out the loser of the fight! No different than sometimes the robber dies when he tries to rob someone!

He's in a coma b/c he participated in a cowardly bum-rushing of 250 men against 3 people in a truck!

Not only that, but when the truck finally got off the highway, they tore his car up, dragged him out of his car & almost beat him too death! The glass that shattered in the truck alone could've seriously injured or killed both that man's wife & children!

I don't believe ANYONE who says that if 250 f'ing motorcyclists suddenly surrounded you, boxed you in, slashed your tires, all while your family is in the car, that you wouldn't have done the same thing!!!!!!

Well b/c even he was smart enough to know that even if he tried to step in, he was too out-numbered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if 1 of the bikers themselves felt their life would be in danger if they stood up to their peers, why is it so hard to believe that the man in the truck had a reason to fear for his life——?!

Just b/c he was an undercover cop doesn't mean he's a good cop. The fact that he was able to be convinced by 249 men on motorcycles that somehow bum-rushing a highway was a good, legal, safe or cool idea, speaks volumes & tells me that he probably wasn't a good cop anyways! Can't expect bad cops to do the right thing

WTF are you talking about, he's an UNDERCOVER cop, obviously they're investing the motorcycle gang, so he could have stopped things if he wanted...

Re-read what I said

I never said that he wasn't an undercover cop

I said that he wasn't a good cop

The purpose of an under-cover cop is to infiltrate themselves into a group of people, learn their ways, learn their weapons, & learn their plans to harm others so that they can STOP those things from happening AHEAD of time

It's not like those 250 motorcyclists just so happened to run into each other on the highway! Them all being/riding together was PLANNED

That under-cover cop should have alerted the police of that plan LONG BEFORE they all got on that road! He had that opportunity the minute he got the call that over 200 motorcyclists felt it would be cool, safe or legal to bum-rush a highway.

But he didn't make that call, which completely defeats the purpose of him being an undercover cop

The fact that he had the ability to anonymously alert the police before they even got on that highway, is where he failed! This could've all been avoided had that under-cover cop reported pre-meditated f*ckery!

Under cover cops are under the SAME obligation to protect & serve citizens. They are obligated to expose themselves if need be & if doing so will stop a perpetrated crime.

There is a REASON the under-cover cop is in hot water. It's not b/c he was simply "there," & didn't stop it. Hell all of the rest of those 250+ motorcyclist "could have" stepped in to stop it at any time too, but they aren't being prosecuted or charged with anything. BUT the cop is in hot water b/c he DID have an obligation, as required by policy to not only report it, but to attempt to stop it, even at the attempt of his own life (risks that cops are obligated to take every single day)

Let's say an undercover cop was in on the fact that a bunch of gangsters were planning on robbing a bank tomorrow

And then the bank robbery actually occurs tomorrow. It occurred b/c the undercover cop didn't report it nor did he try to stop it once it was occurring

UM doesn't that DEFEAT THE PURPOSE of having undercover cops?

This is basically what happened in the motorcycle case. There was a REASON he was sent as an undercover cop to embrace & "get in" with those men.

The min he had his 1st lead that they were planning such a stupid plan that could've endangered thousands of other innocent motorists on the highway, he should have reported it to his superiors!

Holy fuck if I was that truck driver, I'd have made all my Grand Theft Auto fantasies a reality.

squish squish squish
squish squish squish
squish squish squish
squish squish squish
etc

Yep, a lot more people would be in comas if that were me! I would've suddenly turned into a F'ing ninja & used my truck as a weapon. Self-defense. Sorry
