I've always wanted to be a professional golfer. I've gotten better as years have gone by. But by then I had graduated college. And needed a job to support myself. So I started working at a country club. HORRIBLE PAY! Doesnt matter which course you work at. They pay is horrible in the golf business. My lease in both my apartment and car are due at the end of the year and I need money. I'm not going to be able to afford either at this rate. I'm just pretty disappointed right now in myself. I think I could have tried harder. I've dealt with injuries the last 3 years so I haven't be able to compete due to that and working. What questions should I ask myself before giving up completely or what advice does anyone have?
I'm afraid I'm gonna have to give up my dream

Well, first of all instead of listing all these 'failures' think about all the positives here...
A) you've put yourself in the right spot job-wise : Country club. That's a biggun. Remeber, location location location. You would'nt wana be a scuba diver in a desert or a ballet dancer in a grocery store you feel me?
B)you've graduated, congratulations - not everybody does, you know.
C) you have an apartment and a car- both important priorities.
D)despite dealing with injuries for 3 years you've kept your head above water, held down a job, achieved education and paid your way.
Sounds like you need a bit of a boost and some positive thinking but you are actually doing really well, I wouldn't write off your Dream just yet!

What do you normally score per round?
I do need a boost because I feel so much stress and pressure. I got into an ugly argument with my Dad. And he's right on some points. I need to get this going. Time is running out. Right now I shoot around even par. Which is no good. I need to be shooting 66 consistently but with all this pressure it's killing me.

Take out a FAFSA loan and enroll in a golf academy. You'll build on skills that you are lacking in and you'll get more exposure to the people that can help you get your game to the next level..
