Lets be honest thou: she kinda deserved it thou, right?
I mean C'mon man..why in the hell would you roll your window down? i bet she was trying to take a pic or video just to post on FB too,smh..
this is great considering we are murdering animals into extinction. Hopefully a plague will take out a billion more filthly destructive humans.
She was an idiot.
I am not surprised it was an American.
Some of the most disrespectful cunts in the universe.
You have to respect these animals.
Don't assume because they APPEAR to be unbothered that they aren't.
And the idiots taking pictures are no better with not expecting a Lion to attack.
Did they think all the Lions were tame kittens?
Now they want to blame the park for her death when she clearly used poor judgement by rolling down her window.
Why did she roll down her window?
Her windows were not tented, she could have gotten a photograph from inside.
Animals don't care who you think you are.
Stupidity.
+10 for the park not putting the Lioness down.
It could have been an accident, nobody knows.. if nobody else is in the car with her.. some car windows, if you're just trying to roll the window down a little bit if you tap the button too hard it will roll the window down all the way for you
You do realize that "thou" sounds like "thow" and not "though" right?

Ok, she is a Sagittarius. RIP.
I wish poachers were this stupid. That would be a feast.

Ted Bundy, Sagittarius.
Why not carry bear mace? Problem solved. It's a known fact lions eat humans. In fact all large cats eat humans. Some humans are so fused to society they forget the nature they originally came from.

As much as you deserve getting shot for turning your heels on a cop, I guess.
Do a web search on Timothy Treadwell, the "bear whisperer".
When I read about his story, I'll admit that I chuckled.

a wild animals actions verses a sworn officer's actions are incomparable, which therefore makes your analogy a terrible one.

Because he had the conceit typical of those who anthropomorphise animal behavior-having a slight superioty complex and demonstrating obnoxious behavior towards the forest service people who were trying to help both the animals and visitors.
Having some familiarity with animals in the wild myself, in my opinion he got lucky for 13 years with his activities until his hubris got the best of him.
The only tragedy was the girl he convinced to come along on that last fateful trip. She didn't deserve what happened to her.

if you're an adult who choose to disobey rules given to you & proceed to agitate wild animals, then yes, you deserve whatever happens to you.
Really, though ... if you're take dumb, it's only a matter of time before you do something so stupid that it kills you.
I know from personal experience. I had a sister who was that stupid, that she would open the window. And we always said, something's going to happen. You can only press luck so far. And sure enough, she had a stupid accident that killed her (22 years ago).
It's sad, but, at the same .... you have brain cells. Use them.
I don't think they should do it, either.
It's not the cat's fault.
In my little bubble, zoos and refuges don't put smaller animals in the cat's den, so that the cats can hunt them down.
But, I'm sure that's a delusion because the truth would be too harsh for me to take.
Why would anyone open their window?
What is wrong with you?

So if she got out of the ordeal intact, you'd say likewise, that she DESERVED getting out of it in one piece?
Somehow me don't think you would.
It could have been an accident
I didn't read the article, but, it's possible her window was faulty.

Best wishes to her family members who they will forever be in pain. While all you morons on here posting stupid responses without compassion.
Being compassonate doesn't mean being unrealistic.
Just like being on a safari doesn't mean rolling your windows down. I think her camera's flash caught the eye of the great cat, and she attacked... Just like Leo women, actually.
To all the signs... See the lioness? Yeah.
lol
An editor for Game of Thrones was killed by a lion you say?
The Lannisters' love for sending their regards even reaches beyond the pen/camera I guess.
Ugh, the OP clearly loves/glorifies death and destruction. So many posts about death.
But he also apparently mourns the loss of religion?
What a fucking hypocrite. Oh wait...maybe not so much LOL! 😄

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3113418/Horrifying-moment-lioness-reared-attack-killed-American-tourist-Katherine-Chappell-South-African-safari-park.html
This is the horrifying moment a lioness reared up and mauled to death an American tourist after she stopped to take a photograph in a South African safari park.
Standing on its hind legs, the lioness is seen peering into the vehicle seconds before it attacked Katherine Chappell, an editor on hit TV show Game of Thrones, through the open window.
Engineer Ben Govender, 38, who was in the car behind Miss Chappell, said 'no one could have imagined' what would happen in the minutes after he took the extraordinary photograph.
