Link between abortion and ebt?

do you think that if more people promted pro-choice there would be less people on public assistance? those who are only on public assistance because of having kids?

I don't think so DMV. Had an abortion in Feb. I didn't care what anyone else thought about it. I've always been prochoice but only in extreme situations- rape, incest etc. My abortion was against my own beliefs.. but when put in that situation, things get real. You have to really think about what you are and aren't going to have in your life based on the decision. The entire world could have been prolife and I'd still have had it.

Maybe I'm unique, but I don't think anyone can really tell what they'd do in that situation until they're in it.

but anyways, yea i think most people who are on welfare actually need it, regardless if they have kids or not.. yea of course its some people out here taking advantage of it, and trust me, it isn't just poor people.

so naturally i don't think abortions will solve the link/ebt situation..because even if everybody decides to get it a job, it still doesn't mean that job will cover the rent and all the other bills/expenses you may have

I am from illinois and it's funny cause where I live now they say EBT and when I go to Illinois people are like what is that Lol.

EBT is like food stamps.

im not judging those who have abortions by any means. it just seems like more and more religious groups and sometimes non-religious groups are pushing for abortion to be banned. i dont think its going to stop anyone from smashing and making babaies. however, lets say abortion did get outlawed, there may be a resulting increase in people applying for public assistance...which means more money from my paycheck or budget dollars being shifted. so in a sense, do the people who are pushing for abortion to be illegal also want to cough up the extra dollars to take care of kids that might have otherwise been aborted?
