Moderator or Not?

I love dxp for not having them,because some of the sites with them mess up the flow of the board with their power too delete the thread as soon as you make it...don't get me wrong,some of the stuff on this site is kinda questionable ..but wth the way social media is headed,everything is fair game..if see people saying don't put this on here because of young kids on here..but hell,with Facebook,Twitter,etc they see everything anyway..waaaaay more then is on this board,and the other boards that have mods...some.of the stuff I see get flagged on other boards,want even get a second look on DXP!! Good job Duncan for letting people speak their minds on a open free forum...you don't have too police everything ...sometimes it just police itself...🙂

I like it too, it takes a bit of getting used to though, sort of like playing unsupervised in the big kids sand pit 😛
Especially after other sites as you say can be so Overly-moderated.

But, really it seems to work well here, there are so many oldies and regulars that keep things above board, Duncan barely needs to be involved.
Then again, I've never had a nasty run in with anyone on here so I don't know if it is frustrating for people who get bullied or what have you?

In the end maybe less is more.

We have our moments where things can get out of hand but for the most part I think members here are reasonable about keeping the board under control without mods.
