The Most interesting part of my Day!!!

Okay so today I went to the phone store to purchase a new phone for nieces birthday. I am making a commitment to add her to my plan.

Everything is fine and dandy...... going smooth, the store is empty, I am getting quick service.......until.........an old man walks in. ( I respect the elderly trust me, and love old people but this old man was taller than me and he was very sharp and looked very strong for his age he even moved fast and had great posture (not humped back or nothing) but he was very wrinkly)

immediately he wants service right away, getting angry and feisty with the clerk

Clerk: "Sir I will be right with you, I am just finishing up with this customer"

old man: "Well I don't have much time to wait..all I want to do is this...is there anyone else here who can help me?"

The girl runs to the back and returns and says no (which I know she is lying because I have seen 3 people roam around the front and retreat to the back, she was just too scarred to stand up to her lazy co-workers)

Clerk: "No one is here sir it is just me alone."

Old man: Still complaining, "I don't think I should have to wait because all I want is this line disconnected" and a bunch of other issues he had

Clerk: "Okay, just hang on one minute let me help him is that okay?"

Me: "Well how long will it take?" (after all, I have a right to know how long it is going to take if I make someone skip me)

Clerk: "Just a few minutes, I just want to help really quick"

Old man:" Yea its not going to take long, and just try to have a little patience please"....(in a slick way because he is now happy to be immediately served)

Me: "Well maybe you need to practice some patience yourself and wait on her to be done with us"

Old man: "Oh! please you really don't want to get into a shouting match with me (I am the wrong person (lol)"

Me and my Sis look at each other crazy

Old man: " So all I have to do is come back tomorrow to" ........Bhla Bhla Bhla........

Happy, he walks from the counter grabs his stuff(didn't even want to wait for the girl to finish talking to customer service about his phone for him)and rolls his eyes at me. I watch him walk all the way to the door, opens it, turns around while he is outside and the door open to face me and say his last words.

old man: says something slick (I forgot what he said but it was rude)

old man:" boy you sure have a beautiful face, where are you from?" (this is his way of saying i'm sorry and if I were 60 years younger I would get your number)

me:" Well where the heck are you from?" (I don't care about your sorry compliment)

old man: "THIS COUNTRY!!!....THAT'S WHERE I'M FROM"....and slams the poor door. (He said it like a proud Vet or something, lol)

My Sis: "SHE'S FROM THIS COUNTRY TOO!!"

He had me cracking up for the rest of the day...my sis said "Don't Laugh" lol

For anyone who thinks I am rude or disrespectful..I am not ...I jjjjjssssss....love my old folks.... 🙂
