have to start some renovating projects. just bought some old doors: 8 interior and a set of french doors. they're really cool and solid with all the original brass hardware. they're from a bungalo that was torn down years ago, and i love the recycling aspect of using them. so now i have to start making a plan for what's ahead. so many things to think about, and decisions to make. will use the french doors to replace some crummy old sliding glass doors, and i'm jazzed to get to work on it.
old doors

yeah im remodeling my kitchen right now..... sometimes old is cool but the 1950's old of my kitchen sucked.lol i wish i could find an old granite counter top 🙂
always so much work to do! granite would be great to use in replacing our old 60's yellow countertops too. however money is a reality consideration!!
we have some salvage warehouses aroung here, and regularily check the classifieds, and "materials" on craigslist.
keep your eyes open! bet you find the perfect medium to complete your renovation!

i was planning on it the granite and i have money alloted for it. just need to check around for prices. theres a quartz top i like at home depot.....thats gonna run 1500 for the top and they throw in a undermount sink for free but u have to pay for the installation of it...another 250. luckily its a small kitchen 🙂
