@Damnata, I think Virgo - I believe he's only 6 months.
There is a bunch of articles about him online. In his short life he's been in at least 5 different homes and I think at least 2 different shelters. I don't know what the facility is doing to screen adopters. Maybe people are adopting because he is quite the cutie and then they realize they can't deal with a puppy? And a Belgian Shepard at that!! IDK. In any case I feel for the boy. I'd snatch him up if I could.
@Damnata, lol at the Taurean nose!! As for shipping to Romania, you can inquire!! I know you're only half serious, but there are volunteers who transport in Europe (as we do here - even pilots help transport across country here in the States, I imagine that there are similar orgs in Europe. Recently a volunteer flew a dog from Europe to the States for placement too). The challenge may be in the laws of any country he would have to be transported through or quarantine laws if flown.
OH, and to anyone reading this, rescue groups are always looking for people to help transport. Most legs are an hour or less (in my experience) but could be longer if you so desired to take a road trip. In my opinion, it is rewarding to make a difference in the life of an animal!
I would love him if he had no nose at all. I don't understand why people would reject him simply because his nose is different. That makes no sense at all.
Maybe it's a different issue that isn't being addressed?
If they'd ship him to the US, I'd take him .... I have a whole mountain of forest where he could sniff with this double snuffles to his hearts content.
Cannot restrain the dog in my apartment but my grandparents and my dad have land in the mountains and they love dogs..my dad was actually asking me to get him a dog and I was looking into adoption.
@P, I'm leaning toward the fact that he is only 6 months old. He's a puppy! Seeing as he has no known health issues, it has to be. I can't imagine he's overly aggressive at that age... and if he is, it's from being bounced around so many times. There could be issues with other pets as well, but that certainly can be corrected given his age. Probably really just needs house training and taught a few manners. NO ONE has even kept him long enough for him to even acclimate to his new surroundings. The only thing he knows for certain at this point is his kennel and that's sad. Patience and love go a long way!
Regardless, whatever you do, do not buy from a breeder or pet store. Most certainly adopt, there are many who need good homes, many who have come out of bad situations, many who just need love! They will give it back 100 fold+!
This boy has been shuffled around and around and no one wants him because he is unique.
Please share however you can and let's get him into a happy forever home!
(yes, I'm reaching out to the crazies of DXP on behalf of this boy 😛)
