You have successfully captured 2 very important aspects of human behaviour ..


1. you convey, by virtue of you staring at the tele, as if mesmerized, and then acting out what is being programmed into you ... that people are compelled to become what their influence is. In this case, the influence being violent, or criminal in nature ... is what you would do from being exposed.

yes, indeed .. that was an incredible parallel


2. MEN tend to attempt to expunge their emotional life situations through sexual expressions ... and the sexual metaphores just after an emotional situation captures the male behaviour quite accurately.


I think this was amazing ... people need to stop looking at it on the surface, and view it for what it suggests.

MY tutor liked it. And he said exactly the same P Angel. He also asked if it was personal, and i was tempted to mention my Cancer asc. 😛
I know it's done in a literal way, but i think it's a thing we can all relate too in some way. God i remember when Pirates came out, i wanted to be Cpt Jack Sparrow so much!


Exo are you referring to the end bit? Or the whole film? Because that choppy slo mo bit at the end i'm actually quite fond of. It some how works. Despite being overly long, choppy and stuff?

Mm, i see where your coming from. But the shower scene/sequence is a carbon copy of the American Beauty intro, and the wanking scene is done with miniature milk cartons.

Now if you made the same point, but with Mr Darcy... then i would understand. 😛

All joking and 'nice' bum 🙂 remarks aside.....I completely agree with exo and P.

AA, your short is really well done —congratulations! The ending was especially powerful and I like how it linked back to the first scene. I also like how you use the juxtaposition of the music to create a more impactful moment as we see your childhood photos, before the robbery. The film exudes a fatalism that young minds in society, (possibly impressed and influenced subconsciously) are doomed, either to be destroyed by media violence, which has desensitized them, or to become a part of it.
