Hi!
Oh yeah...if I start to lose my routine...it takes me a long time to get it back! I have to stay faithful to my routine!! LOL! I lift weights twice a week...sometimes three...but, you should always have a day in between with this activity (thank God! LOL!)

Walking for 'about an hour or so' is awesome! When I dance, I like to dance for about an hour...burns more stored fat! But, even though I love to dance...I don't always find the time to fit this into my routine on a weekly basis...
So, I am becoming more bulky looking without my muscle-lengthening dancing to offset my weight lifting...
The thing is that I do love the weight lifting...and it seems to be easy for it to fit it into my life...
Dancing I can fit in...and I do love it...but, it requires more time!
Thing is, I am only 5 foot 4 1/2 inches...not close to 6 feet as you are...so, I lack your grace and beauty...(God forgot that I was supposed to be taller!!...Or maybe she thought there were some 'short' lessons that I needed to learn!!)

OK...back to the subject! I also love Yoga...which strengthens and lengthens the muscles...but, I do not do this as regular as I should either! I bought a book on Pilates and a video also...but, I haven't tried it yet...

Keep in mind that I am the rooster who may be crowing (bragging) when I perhaps should be humbling myself! LOL! But, I am a Strong Rooster! (Ok...I just had to add that! LOL!)

Pilates seems to be the in thing at the moment. I am thinking about taking up either karate or yoga as i need to strengthen muscles and develop focus. I try to walk every day (usually get about 6 days in) and when i get home i do light weights and sit-ups. So far i think ive toned up a little but i won't be happy until i get a flat stomach, lol! I am very pre-menstrual at the moment, which makes me feel stodgy...! But today i did the walk and once i started i was fine. Not as bouncy as usual, but i made it, hehe!

I am a rooster too, don't you love it? I think roosters are the best sign in the chinese zodiac. If i wasn't a rooster i would want to be a snake or ox.

Libragirl...I have always felt that the Rooster is in conflict with some of who I am...but, at the same time, I love being the Rooster!

I have never given thought to what the Best sign is...so, you think we are the best? Cool...
I love that encouragement!

I haven't done much but read about Pilates so far...it seems to be a combination of exercise practices...including yoga...
I love yoga!
However, I have been too on-and-off with yoga, and am thinking I can obtain faster results with pilates...

OK...there I go...looking for a quick fix!

Shame on me!
