Tips and suggestions for New Orleans trip!

Hello peeps! Me and 5 of my besties are going on a girls trip from Thursday to Sunday! I would love for some feedback from some that are from New Orleans or have visited. I am a vegetarian and wondering if the restaurants tend to be at all vegetarian friendly and if so which ones may be the best?
What about the hot dance clubs? Great places to see during day...etc?
I went like 12 yrs ago and I wasn't into the party/dance scene then. I didn't even drink so this trip will be a tad different...lol.
