So far Rabbit, I've had similar thoughts that align to yours. Yet I'm one of these people who has to dig way beneath the surface (closet democrat comes close), and am still wondering WHY... he is running. There's always a reason. (aside Narcissisim, I mean hell, this chump is a poster child for that)..but still there's an underlying reason. Haven't figured it out yet. Might just be a "look at me" show. hmmm

Yeah...even taking into account the narcissism, I don't feel anything about Trump aligns with holding political office.

It will all go away (just like last election cycle) when once again he's reminded he has to open his financials to the public.

....including his Atlantic City bankruptcy.

He might be a Democrat plant, he might be a narcissist, but I'm thinking he may be "clearing a path" for somebody else (and it's not ¡Yeb! Bush).
Some of the pundits have touched on the issue of him tapping into a deep anger in the electorate by talking about things that the other candidates aren't touching. I can think of only one or maybe two in the Republican field that are addressing the same issues although not in such a brash manner.

One lesson they do need to take is that when the media plays their games with framing the conversation, they need to be bitch slapped. Given what is goingon in the US one cannot honestly say things are going well, and there is a growing perception that no matter who is elected, there is an agenda that doesn't seem to change. I think that's why you see Trump and Sanders drawing crowds.

As far as his unique approach to campaigning he has a very good chance. Ppl enjoy his blunt attitude on subjects rather then past politicians side stepping or walking on glass when it comes to questions.
Can't say I agree with his views other then legalizing drugs
