Ever think of how often you do it?
- I do it. but I don't count how often I do it. not a lot If I had to take a guess

Why you do it?
- it could be because I hope the person will correct their own actions and redeem themselves or because confrontation may do more harm then good or I just don't want to deal with it

Or question your own reasoning?
- yes

Is it a reasonless non-action?
- it can be

Is it excusing your excuses for others, or yourself?
-maybe

Is it really avoidance?
- possibly

what do you mean? like a situation you involved in? More information please.

I actualy mean it in every way... Even in small ways... Cuz even that can become a trend and possibly a characteristic.

Direct involvement in a situation isnt necessary to overlook an impulse to speak your mind about right and wrong. So all I'm really looking for us general discussion.

How often do you notice something wrong and not address it?

A gigantic typo on a sign board... Do you tell those responsible for it about it? Do you assume 50 others already have and walk away? Is it a waste of time and who really cares? What's your m.o.?

nice honest answers??_ i feel the same.

i might be thinking too hard on the idea right now. but consciously overlooking certain things bothers me. bigger infractions. i don't spend this much time over stuff i consider trivial. granted in many situations it's much better or more effective than immediate confrontation. i still always wonder if it really is better?

a different way of thinking about it is??_ conversely, would you always want others to speak up to you if you were somehow involved in a right/wrong situation?
