Vinegar & Carpet

I cleaned up a pee spot with vinegar. It smells like vinegar now, but the carpet is now stained yellow (wasn't before). How do I get rid of the yellow from the vinegar? Anyone know?

ooops...supposed to dilute the vingegar with cold water first! Try just cold water to get the stain out. It might dull it, but it may not fix it.

Spot Shot is good too (for pet stains) if you don't have vinegar...spray and soak the area and rub with a cold water cloth, then dry towel or paper towel to soak it up. presto!

Thanks LIB!! I used spot shot on part of it and it got rid of the yellowing from the vinegar.. but that stuff is expensive and I already tried rinsing it like crazy.. trying H2O2 diluted now, it's not bleaching it, but not taking out the discoloration entirely either.
