As the topic says what causes a woman to be controlling?

I don't run into controlling women too often I know a woman who is very controlling she loves control she wants it in every aspect of her life. So what makes a woman become a control freak?

Yes it has to do with the toxic relationship question I asked in the "relationship" forum

How do you stand up to a control freak woman? or do you just walk away I don't let anybody control me.

I'm not trying to change her I don't let her control me like she can with others I would say she can be a bully I wonder where that stems from?

Just confirming what I'm observing, I've never been a control freak I don't have the need for control I will take control of situations when it requires it or when I know I have the most knowledge in the situation.

You guys have me intrigued about the narcissist theory its got me curious if it is narcissistic behavior I'm seeing in her.

This is a learning event for me I'm not looking for a relationship, I'm seeing a man get destroyed no its not me its her BF.

I've recalling what she's told me about her life and what I observe today is there much of a difference no. Do I have a good idea that she's got some narcissism in her you bet she does its where the need for control comes from it is her biggest fear is losing control she needs to have her life planned to the T she knows what she is doing a month from now.

I've figured out the triggers what make her angry it brings the fear of losing control. I just read something that explains exactly what she's done to me, I'm not getting into the details but I have my answers for my questions.

Hmm not sure if its because she is a Scorpio or she's a narc, I have more power in my arsenal to handle the situation.
