What the heck?

you know what bugs me? When ppl judge you for the way you talk. So what if the person doesnt talk as intellectually as you? Why do ppl judge on this? Why do some adults think you dont know as much just because you dont talk well as them?? Even guys, guys think girls are "not dumb" if they can talk well with big words and dont act "in that way" that makes guys think theyre just ditzy dumb girls. Whats up with that? Wow, i know a big word, does that make me smart? Maybe smart in that area with words and knowing the definition but seriously... i've noticed this in some ppl i know irl. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Yes Luz I agree with you that words only express ourselves in as much as the langauge and our understanding of it permit's but the words that come from our minds are just that....

The communication of our minds with others...so...

I think you can understand a hell of a lot about a person by the way that person cummunicates...it's not about judging Luz...
It's about people expressing themselves the way they see fit and that stems from their situation in life according to how that person has placed themselves within their life...!!!

Nobody says you have to understand and use big words but when you do and when you endevour to further your understanding of langauge you will be able to express yourself more freely and in many differant ways...and that...well that's liberation Luz...an awesome feeling indeed.

Hi Luz! My 14 year old daughter told me the other day that I have a tendency to "talk above other people", then she said, "but, they forgive you for it, Mom, because they know it is just the way you talk"..."and, you are a nice person"...
OK...so, she was telling me that most people talk 'real', and that I do not. I am not a snot, and I had no idea that I sometimes sound like one because of my use of words that they may not know the meaning of...
So, I guess it can work both ways...sort of...you know what I mean?
I do not judge others by their speech or choice of words, but, I guess some people do...
I look for what is inside the person and the beauty I see there.
I am so proud of both my daughters! One lives with me and the other is you Luz!
I think your speech pattern is just fine, and I don't get why others would make a judgement regarding this! (See, my other daughter was right! LOL! I just don't sound normal, do I! ROFLOL!!!)

ok -_- i made a mistake. AGAIN. i always do, everytime i post something(well not everytime) in one lil word ALWAYS comes out different. Okay what i meant was "its not necessarily pointing out fingers to anyone(on this board)" does that make things clearer?
