Why are some people ashamed of their signs?

At least that's the way it seems. It's so annoying when you go to someone's profile and find that there isn't a word mentioned about what sign they are. Come on people, this is an astrology forum after all...

well, maybe somebody does not wish to be judged by his/her sign....

e.g. we get along, have great conversations etc. etc. then you check my profile and find out what sign i am - and you don't like that sign...what then?

Yeah I thought of that too... but if you're confident enough sharing your thoughts and opinions surely your sign is of least relevance to whether you're going to be liked or not.
