To waste oxygen. At least that's what I think about some people. IDK the answer but the rotation of life seems weird, it's like an on-going play where characters get killed & new ones replace them.

I still haven't come to terms with the fact that I was born on this Earth and that one day, I'm just going to die. It's not fair.

Oh come on, Aime, be positive. Cloning is trending. Even if you don't get a robotic clone of yourself, you can still make a difference in the lives of others, that way your deeds can outlive you...making you virtually immortal.

Or you can return to Africa & have them zombify you lol.

Ever since my grandma and uncle in Nigeria died back in 2010, I've been thinking deeply about death and mortality.

I think you're going through a spiritual awakening. Look it up. It has "symptoms" as well.. like ringing ears, waking up around 4am for no reason, etc.

Spiritual awakening? All I know is that I'm being an insomniac for the past couple of years. I still have vices though, so I don't see myself as this pure, spiritual being.

It doesnt happen over night, but I feel that's what is happening with you because of these questions about the meaning of our existence. That's how it usually starts. Have you lost interest in things that you used to love before? Like, they seem shallow & meaningless to you now.

Yeah I used to enjoy being in the choir and I even planned on joining in college, but I lost interest in that. I also used to enjoy MMA, but I find MMA to be meaningless now. The only thing that I still care about is boxing, but even that may change.

There was a successful man here from Cape Town. This guy gave away his house, his car, his money, quit his job & was only left with the clothes on his back. He said he was on a spiritual quest or something like that because he felt that his possessions were hindering his spiritual growth, etc. Sadly he ended up killing himself because he felt that this world was too rotten, the people "dirty" spirited, etc. Some people into spirituality explained that a spiritual awakening can sometimes make you feel like you don't belong here (in this world).

His name was Rob Taylor, a property developer. He jumped off the Table Mountain. I hate when I give incomplete info lol, so I had to add it.

He was pretty successful.... it just shows that material wealth doesn't equate to happiness.
