All of the natural disasters happening now have already happened before throughout history.
It's irrational to claim that their existence now suddenly means something when in fact, those SAME disasters (with more casualties & damage) have happend several times before.
If you'll notice, reporters of these recent natural disasters always include in their stories how such and such city/state had the SAME multiude earthquake, hurricane, tornado, volcanic eruption, etc. BEFORE in earlier history
They'll say things like, "Los Angeles hasn't had a 8.9 multitude earthquake since 1964." If you pay attention to the 1964 part that means that earthquakes of that size are NOT uncommon & HAVE happened before, thus it doesn't make sense to assume that the world must be coming to an end soon THIS time just b/c we experienced such a big natural disaster
If that were the case, then the people in 1964 should've/would've had reason to believe the world was ending BACK THEN!!
But they didn't b/c they knew that in 1964, there were also 8.9 multitude earthquakes in earlier years
Another point...Yes, the Myans & other organizations that swear to know when the world is coming to an end have been right before, BUT they've also been WRONG several times too.
So don't have selective memory. If you do your research on these groups, they've actually been MORE WRONG than they have been right
From a religious point (Christianity), the bible says that no man will know the time/hour. So believing in some group that claims to know when that "time/hour" will be is the same as calling God a LIAR. Yeah bad move!
Did this lady actually make the claim that to believe in something is irrational, according to facts ... and then associate a god, to insinuate that what she believes without fact is a basis for legitimacy?
