Bummer it's downgraded to a cat 1 in my area... rain is a pouring though! They're still calling for 50-70 mile an hour sustained winds with 100 mph gusts with a state of emergency in place - only mildly windy now. Worst is to come after 10pm for my area. I think the storms are cool! I do worry about the neighbor's tree hanging over my house though, ugh, will not be a good night if it comes down on me!

I'm surprised we haven't heard from Candah or the others living in VA. Not sure who we have in the Carolina's. But, maybe the power is out down that way. We do have a few folks in NJ and the Philly area as well and of course NY. I'm sure they'll be chiming in soon!

Batten down the hatches, should be an interesting 24 hrs! Good luck all!!!
