Has anyone ever wondered about living outside society in the solitude of mother nature? I kinda always imagined my dream house being on a private beach of some foreign nation with few inhabitants. I would feed off of fish and small game, watch the sunrise and sunset, and have a little plane that I would fly back to America to tell everyone how grand my island was as they file into prison buses because we were invaded by the Chinese.

But some would come with me and form a new small nation called "ARoaropia". The citizens of ARoaropia would gather at night around a large bond fire and sing songs and dance under the moon and eat dark chocolate and drink wine. ARoaropians are the most loving, strong charactered, and righteous of all people. Anyone in need, if there were needs in ARoaropia because it's the closest thing to peace on earth, is helped by the entire community.

For sport, ARoaropians would erect an octagon and the people would gather to watch members of the tribe compete in MMA using the rules of the UFC. Sexy female ARoaropians (or all female ARoaropians) would bounce around in their little grass skirts cheering on the competitors.

ARoaropians are also grand artisans making beautiful music and art that they would take back to Chinese America to sell for high profit because anything made from ARoaropia holds high value for the citizens of Chinese America and the rest of the world. ARoaropians would then take the profits and buy things for people in 3rd world nations who are staving and growing sick under ruthless dictators.

If ARoaropia sounds like the place for you, please comment in the thread below. Also, to call our free hotline, dial 1-800-ROAR to let a sexy, smart, sophisticated motherfucker know that you're interested.

I OFFICIALLY MAKE THIS THREAD DOUBLE AS A "STICKING IT TO THE MAN" THREAD TO BITCH ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT AND YOUR BOSS AND WHATEVER YADA YADA.

It just hit me, you get a discount on car insurance for being a student with a certain gpa.

So people who aren't getting a degree have to pay more to have their car insured when they're making less anyways OBVIOUSLY because they don't have said degree to get a "skilled" job. wtf. That just tells you how much they encourage the system.

Dammit yo. I'm gettin' my RATM on...

Also, I want to make it clear I'm not anti work. I'm anti working for a big business with paper pushers over me making all the bank.

I hate money. I hate what it does to people. I hate the societal mindset of individualism that is all about you chasing that paper just to be higher on the social ladder which doesn't mean shit in reality because currency is a system devised by the human mind which doesn't actually exist.

People say that society is the human mechanism for "survival". If you work together, you have a much better odds. Duh.
But if it's about survival, why do we have a world with billionaires and people who are starving?

It's about power, prestige, comfort, dominance. Self interest. That's what "economics" is all about.

I think people forget that government was a pact made by the people because they agreed they'd be better off. And when the government wasn't looking out for the peoples best interest, the people left. Hence America.

I just hate feeling like a number. Like a part of this grandiose machine that's constantly racing forward. And for what?

A better quality of life?
How many people a day do you see bursting with contentment?

I don't know if anyone is familiar with Ekhart Tolle, but he basically says that all people are trapped in their own conceptualized matrix of the world as they try to build their "story" but they succumb to the tragedy of human thought. Which is, that we are constantly thinking about the future and how we hope things will get better, but "future" is a figment of our own mind created to help ourselves explain the nature of time. But because your vision of the future is merely a thought, you will never get there. We spend our lives physically in the present moment and mentally in the past and future. This kills appreciation and beauty. Which I believe to be core reasons for living. But no one cares about those because they don't "get you ahead". And what we do enjoy we market, package, and sell to those willing and able to purchase it.

I'm just going to get off my podium now before I waste all my time. Another precious commodity we trade for the dollar...
