I thought it would be fun to pit the Zodiac signs as music genres.

Aries- Punk Rock. Fun for a little while, but after an hour you are annoyed and get a headache.

Taurus- Country. Always there to reward your long day of yard work in the summer. Gross mowed, weeds eaten, flower bed mulched. Now time for a cold beer and Conway Twitty or George Strait.

Gemini- R&B. Let's get it on. Chill but dramatic. Loud drum beats. Quiet drum beats. Whitney and Beyonce are fabulous! We will even take Gloria Estefan! Why not?

Cancer- Love Ballads. Even if you are in a stable relationship, the song makes you remember that love from years ago. Regardless of your mood, you are guaranteed to cry.

Leo- Broadway Musicals. Everything is so flamboyant and dramatic. Of course, what would a musical be without a big show stopper. Especially one sung by Ethel Merman.

Virgo- Classical. Sophisticated. Classy. Intelligent. Subtle nuisances you miss on the first listening. However, you more you listen, the more you recognize the genius of the piece.

Libra- Nature Sounds. Harmony. Balance. Serenity. Not living in the real world.

Scorpio- Heavy Metal. Don't F--- with us. We mind our business, so why don't you mind yours. We are not scandalous, we just sing the truth of the world.

Sagittarius- Disco. So much fun. The life of the party. No matter what event you are at, everyone is guaranteed to have a good time while listening. Can get even the Capricorn to start tapping their feet.

Capricorn- Old Church Hymns. Music is for a purpose, not enjoyment. However, the hymns are nicely arranged in a beautiful old leather book.

Aquarius- Alternative. They are the alternative version of any genre. It's not they are too good for the mainstream, it is just that they enjoy eclectic varieties. The same version of a song is boring.

Pisces- Emo. So many emotions. So depressing. Randomly starts raining when this genre comes on. You feel like you need a cigarette and a hard drink after listening.

I'm digging Gloria Estefan music. Love her slow stuff. Beautiful singing voice she got. But I'm not much of an R&B type person. Old school r and b, yes. No new school stuff. I like relaxing music without vocals preferably.

It's all what you want it to be!

Yeah it's just that I'm quiet so therefore I prefer music without any vocals in it. Like just straight instrumental. I love the sounds of musical instruments. But the instruments has to be soft and tender and not all loud to buss my eardrums and give me a migraine. What can I say. I'm introverted.

I do tend to think that Gemini one does fit perfectly for chill geminis tho.

The closest one that I can truly relate to on that list is the Libra one being that's my rising sign. I love the sounds of nature most especially if it's in music. Think new age

The next one being country music, the Taurus one. Though the right kind of mood play a major role too.

preferrably classic, jazz, instrumental (more often).

sometimes musicals and country (less often but it happens).

really hate too much loudness. usually, i don't like music playing unless it's under one of those above. i'm 8 out of 10 times irritated by lyrics. as someone who overthinks, it's distracting. if i wanted words, i'd read a book or chat online. and maybe it's coz i'm an earth sign but i feel like it should be a physical experience (purely focused on sounds). not that i don't admire those with great vocals but i'd rarely listen to them for leisure unless it's a musical (which i associate mainly with theater/performance).

I think Leo is more edm, or something new ans upcoming no one has ever really listened to. Like true gems of music that might even
go unnoticed. I guarantee no matter which genre a Leo is into they are going to play some shit you never even knew existed. If you dislike it in any way however, that alone might be enough for them to remove you from their life entirely lol.

That's pretty much me, soul. I've had people that I once thought was cool only to talk mad shit about smooth jazz, something I was listening to at the time. Calling it elevator music and discriminating hard on my music while in my presence is enough for me to distance myself away from people.
