Maybe I’m wrong but he could be from North Macedonia. That country was simply called Macedonia until a few years go.
I would think he was from the Republic of North Macedonia. They changed the name from Macedonia to North Macedonia in 2019.

It is interesting. I googled and it says North Macedonia formerly called Yugoslavia.
Yug in Slovenian means - South.
So South Slavia became North Macedonia…

Saturday after we met with Virgos daughter and after dinner went to her place and met her BF - Virgo took me to the one and only Italian coffee shop in a city and it was spectacular!
