soooo i was kind of curious so i went to look up charlie hunman's chart.

(he was married to a Cancer Sun female for a while)

He's Aries Sun/Aquarius Moon, Mars Leo, Aquarius venus (Pretty much balanced with dominant air/fire)
He's very Alpha male. LOL. as is his character.

Charlie Day's chart is Gemini Moon, with some important water placements (like Jupiter and Saturn) so although he's double air, he seems really happy/compatible with his Taurus sun/scorpio moon wife.

Oh, if you look at charlie hunman, he's kind of have that "Steve McQueen" look (who was an aries sun/aquarius moon too) weird. ah well. *shrugs*

Charlie Hunnam is from Sons of Anarchy! I love that damn show. He is one sexy Aries man my goodness! He's also a really good actor so it's nice to finally see him on the big screen getting his well deserved recognition. And of course Idris Elba is too sexy for words! His English accent is just the cherry on top and he's also a very talented actor as well.

Haven't seen the movie yet but, I will definitely be watching it soon.

I haven't seen Sons of Anarchy but did look it up. He looks different there with longish hair. Yeah, Idris is so sultry like. Can't explain. Awww.

Ugh. I hated this movie, the aqua loved it... but I couldn't wait for it to be over.

I'm just not a sci-fi fan. I couldn't follow the screen either too much action it hurt my eyes.

You both sound so opposite from eachother. Opposites attract they say. Maybe he'll try getting you to see the new Star Trek film.

I liked it. Had almost too many angles packed in, but the good pacing kept the focus even (for an hour and a half anyway).

Speaking of, love that it didn't pander to American audiences and didn't hyper-emphasize the protagonist the way most films do, there was a nice "in this together" tone with a sub theme of respect.

I've heard criticisms it was overly militaristic, but eh...kinda is what it is. Not enough time to go into the science portion since the pace called for keeping you in the here and now. Also those who never saw it and call it transformers...not by a long shot :p

ToC said it best, if you aren't really a sci-fi person it won't really appeal. That's the core everything in the movie is built off of.

Love Guillermo, he is a fantastic storyteller. (Pan's Labyrinth)

yeah on the overly militaristic (nods). Critics usually do that in these type of films. When "Starship Troopers" came out, I remember reading the critics on that, on how Paul Verhoeven portrayed an extreme view of militarism and parody'd it to the max. He did a blockbuster goodie on "RoboCop" but was criticized harshly on Starship troopers. Loved the parody though.

I love me some sci-fi, so does my husband, and we both loved "FIREFLY" although that was kicked off.
I cried in some parts, i'm just a mush with that stuff. If some people don't understand, ah well, i get really sentimental and love how the scene with the little girl went. So Japanese atmosphere tragic in a way.
