was totally not what i expected. i am all for a woman kicking some ass. which gina carona did. BUT the diaolgue was so BORING. so boring....there was one scene where she was running away from the cops..seemed like she was running in circles then it felt like, what 10 minutes. who does that? the music..sucked. and it was irritating. people in the audience were screaming, "enough with the music already next scene!"
Some of the scenes of the movie where it was action pack..had no sound! the plot was a good idea but whomever wrote the screenplay...ugh! 😛
i was impressed with her fighting skills, as usual she gave it her all. but this movie was a big disappointment to me.

It just seemed a bit rushed imo, but the way I looked at it was there's enough of a traget market(s) for this sort of thing to (hopefully) fund something more wholesome, no ?

it seemed to me they put more time in unnecessary parts, (the running scene) than the important ones.

The best part was Fassbender getting shot in the head early on imo, they could've at least dragged out (or shown) Ewan McGregor drowning, and the scene at her Dad's house could've been longer haha.

that was one of the good scenes of the movie, fassbender getting taken down and shot. for an 90 minute movie it only had a couple of good scenes in it. i thought the scene at her dads house was going to be longer than that, so basically the trailer gave that whole scene away. i thought we were going to see her take down guards outside, way more fighting. They left a lot up to assumption, we going to assume Ewan died because he didnt come out the water....that is horrible usually they show that.
guess the camera man didnt like being in the water..LOL.

yes, the target market is huge for this kind of movie, look at the underworld, Kate Beckinsale been kicking butt for years. And the MMA fans couldn't wait to see Gina in a movie. The plot was good, they should have raised more funding. I guess quality wasn't on their list.

The part by the sea imo could've been done a la 'Drive' or aim for that level of tension, wailing off camera kinda made me think something was edited out or like you said with the cameraman lol.

thats true that would have been more action than fighting in the water, they could have even done a car chase. I love those, when they get those million dollar fast cars...something to livin it up. It was one when she took that guys car in the beginning but not much action.

Yup, but at the same time the majority of the target market wouldn't exactly be looking for depth or complexity, just checking out the main character lol.

thats true lol...I saw this with my brother. he said that last scene would have been better if she came walking out the water from the sea. like halle berry did in one of those bond movies... Men smh.

true...the film was totally cheesy! i would go as far to same lame even. I thought Banderas was going to show off his fighting skills, shoot a gun something. It is still a big disappointment. But she is not ugly.
