Well it depends.
There's different kinds of being nice.
I'm only nice to people I like to begin with, but if I start teasing or complimenting (or saying nice things daily).. it means more than a regular 'good morning' that everyone can get.
Watch the eyes and mouth above all, cause when a Pisces is interested they will sparkle.
If a nice thing said does not reach the eyes or move the mouth, it's not truthful.

I really do wish I understood pisces men. I don't know why they are the hardest for me to get. And yes I'm talking in a general, sun sign sense, but I seriously haven't met ONE who I felt I could adequately read.
