Eight months ago, I met a Pisces man, and we are very close friends. Overall, we'd spent probably 80% + of that time in each other's company. I love his companionship, as he does mine.

He is now out-of-state for a couple of months. He called me this morning, before I was ready to wake up for the day. I wasn't laughing at his jokes, until he said (and I don't remember how it lead to this statement) "In two years, you're going to ask me to marry you."
I chuckled.
"Did you just chuckle?"
"Yes."

He liked that.

Dear Pisces men --
do you think this statement has any real meaing?

Look, I know to just talk to him. I'm asking you anyway, to hear other perspectives.

Me: sun Pisces, moon Gemini, merc Pisces, venus Aries, mars Cancer
Him: sun Pisces, moon Cappy, merc Pisces, venus Taurus, mars Pisces

Pisces Sun Capricorn Moon (for guys)
"His Illumination: Understands Human Nature.
His Dark Side: Attracted to Neurotics.

Was there something severe or traumatic in his background? Was there something wrong with his mother/mother figure? Will he ever fully recover? There was a serious, wise old child in this man during his youth. As he grows older, he seems to grow younger emotionally. He will still be light years ahead of most of us in the understanding of human nature, and yet he will still worry. . . . .

For all his strength and usual good sense he often has a love affair with an inferior type of woman that leaves him totally out of control. He will not worry about this like he will everything else. He will think instead that he is some sort of savior to the girl. . . . .

I am not saying this man is a sap. But there is usually a time that he falls hard and ends up in a no win situation. How does it end? She leaves. He will wait for her return. If you are a touch neurotic, or can affect a character disorder, you have your foot in the door. He deserves better than this type of woman. He has a lot to offer. He is kind, very kind. He is successful, and obtains a considerable amount of wealth at some point in his life. He could be a fabulous husband and father. . . ."

(Taken from The Book of Lovers by Carolyn Reynolds.)

I am different from other women, but not inferior. I can see him thinking I am a bit neurotic, and I think he might have even said that a time or two.

Thank you Damnata for posting this.

Im a Pisces man, gem rising.
Well, i wouldnt tell you or ask you to marry me. I'd surprise you with a romantic night.
What might happen is that idk, he was glad to talk to you but you didn't feel the same way, so he shout something to make you feel interested or laugh.
Sometimes when I'm talking to a girl and it seems she isn't into the conversation I start saying some things without thinking. Maybe he's freaking out for saying that right now.

Thank you for your replies.
I love this man. Maybe, it's really just intense attachment.
When he's around me, all of my attention (mainly) goes to him.
Many obstacles to our "being" together, on both of our parts.
He struggles with wanting to be with me, but there is this "block."
I don't want to say what it is; it's a heartbreaker for me.
And may be a heartbreaker for him, once this scenario he sees for his future plays out in a couple of years.
Or, maybe his fantasy will come true! I say "Good for him" if it does.
Meanwhile, I don't know. Sometimes, oh, I don't know . . . .
(end of whine)
