Letting go...

Do any of you other fishes find it difficult to be friends with someone after the relationship ends? For whatever reason I have found that my first instinct is to just totally cut them out of my life, and then I find myself longing to talk to them again, even if we can't be together romantically.

Just curious if that's a Pisces trait..or more like my Scorp rising.

cut them out seems more scoprion. but longing to talk them is just about w/ any human maybe more piceies.

And definitely not Scorpio, because Scorpios aren't humans.

Actually, I don't think it's either one or the other sign that's making you feel either way. I think it's a combination of both astrological influences. Both reactions. Scorps can experience serious longings, too, I think that we're better able to trudge out of the muck of it faster than Pisces, whose tendencies to dwell might keep them chained to one place emotionally for a longer period of time.

No digging on Pisces there, btw...these are only my opinions...every sign has its weaknesses etc blah blah blah disclaimer blah blah blah. lol.

good point though. Piceies do long for stuff longer. deeper atched shouldn't have named them. that sort of thing.

Well, i am a libran and i find it easier to cut them out straight away and if we are to be friends, it should come together naturally afterwards, when all emotions are healed. To be honest though, i feel that after i have broken up with someone that we can no longer be friends, but may be able to be civil toward each other and have some mutual respect. Once it's over, it's over.

So... i get this too and i am not a pisces 😉 It may have more to do with moon sign or venus sign. I have venus in Virgo and what i have found is that i am able to identify when somebody is 'bad' for me and cut-off immediately. Sometimes i secretly long for the person, and sometimes for a long period of time, but i rarely go back.

I never go back either. Perhaps the lesson is that I should try to keep someone I feel an attachment to in my life afterwards. I don't know. It's very hard for me because I usually just want to try and forget all about them, but I can't...so I just suffer through it until I meet someone new and then the whole cycle starts all over. Good times!

It also happens to be a Capricorn trait. Well at least with this Capricorn anyways, but my rising sign is Pisces. I want to continue to hold on and at least be friends if there is nothing else. Always ends up to be a stupid mistake, because I am the one that ends up getting hurt all over again.

don't worry. it's the holidays. u'll do fine. just u know don't think of them as nothing more then such. and if such feelings arise put them in the place of sibling or a close family meber and then u want feel the attaraction as much.
