Oh, the alert is: Be prepared for a big one! It won?t be too bad, though, we had two big ones 3 years ago, 6,4 and 6,5 Richter scale, nobody got hurt but a lot of property damage. Quakes of that caliber can be disastrous - like in Turkey and on Hokkaido/Japan just recently. But it is quite an experience, not just the shaking but the noise! Well, such are the hazards of life. Better than the wild fires in south California today, I?d say.
