It's only in it's fourth season? Why does it feel like it's been on for the last ten years straight?

That's it. It all melds into an indistinct blur. I can remember it going back at least as far as Pop Idol, but i can't remember the finite details that distinguish one from the other. I may be wrong, but it seems like they've created an endless supply of recording artists who disapear after one album and are quickly replaced by someone who is barely distinguishable from the one they replaced.

I blame those damn kids on my lawn. *Shakes walking stick*
