... for a living? Profesion wise?

Since we are so artistic and thrive to be in the artistic world I want to see how many of us are doing what they love.

P-Angel,

We all do something for our soul but what is it that you do, if it's not too personal, to earn a living?

I love to read and write. πŸ™‚

P.S. I am simply curious as far as how many of us are doing what they love and not how much it pays hourly.

Work in the Business Affairs department at Food Network. We handle contracts for all the talent and upcoming Productions, Merchandising, Book Deals etc. My degree is Mass Media and Communications so I am close to fulfilling my initial career ideals but I know work will never feed my soul. I am trying to get back to sewing, knitting, singing and playing the guitar and piano. There never seems to be enough time though.

Well, well, well πŸ™‚

It seems that we are all in the office with a percentage of creativity attached, however we all have desires of 'knitting, singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, etc.'

So why not go for it?!?! Is it because our day job gives us a steady pay check?!
Or our other 'desires' are more of a hobby than something that we'd like to pursue as a profesion ... hmmmmmmm??!?!?

Hey Notes,

my mother taught me how to knit when I was very young so for me to say it's easy wouldn't be fair since I've been doing it for so long. One thing so sure is that it's very soothing. My mind totally empties when I am knitting or sewing. If there is a yarn or notions store in your area you should inquire into classes. Most yarn stores offer them.
