Lol π
I ask because I know we all have our reasons.
I tend to take a dip when I need to get away from it all ... when I need to escape and go into my own world. I find it rejuvenating.
On the other hand ... I go for a swim when I feel a new change has come ... when I have overcome another chapter in my life. When I have made a self discovery.
I'm going for a swim π
I am compelled to swim anytime I get near water .. except the ocean, I am afraid of the sea.
Sometimes, I swim in my bathtub ... try that pp ππ I promise your head WILL stay above water, lol
Figuratively speaking .. I swim with any ending, whenever a period has to be expressed.
prettypisces24,
I was like that when I was younger, I was so afraid of the water but I loved to be in it. I had an incident when I was about three years old where a wave splashed me and I ran around the beach screaming "I drowned, I drowned" π I told myself that I have to get rid of the fear and not too long ago got back into swimming. It's wonderful. π
P-Angel,
I am the same way now, too. I am afraid of swimming in the ocean and when it's dark. I like to be able to see the bottom. Swimming pools with a view of the sea/ocean are great. I haven't tried the bathtub yet.
I just came back from the pool - amazing to be underwater with the sun shining on top.
P.S. P-Angel, I like how you said it: 'Figuratively speaking ... I swim with any ending, whenever a period has to be expressed.'
I've done it for that reason as well.
Lol prettypisces24 π
I've had those kind of 'fun games' happen to me too. I used to hate water games when I was younger and I still do today. I like calm activities when I'm in the water π I can see how you didn't talk to your cousin for the rest of the day π
"I was about three years old where a wave splashed me and I ran around the beach screaming "I drowned, I drowned""
I know it was tramatic .. but, how cute, really.
"I drowned, I drowned," while still alive and breathing .. little kids are so adorable, aren't they?
P-Angel,
I am sure it was traumatic π My parents said that they were confused by my crying out the words, while running on the bach "I drowned ..." when I was alive π
prettypisces24,
Congrats to your sis!!! π She is making us all proud!
Sweet-P,
My dad made sure I knew how to swim, so swimming wasn't an option it was simply mandatory. Now I am glad, back then ... not the case. π
Swimming tones every part of the body soooo nicely :p
I hate the gym!!!
Hey Sweet-P,
True, the I pod does make a difference at the gym - if you have one π
The pic is from Sozopol, Bulgaria. I am Bulgarian. The Black Sea is to the east of Bulgaria and Sozopol is my fave spot ... it's amazing.
- there are four episodes of Bulgaria on Youtube ... watch them all π
I like the pic that you have on here too, it's beautiful!
Ooooh nice π Let me know when do you plan on going. π Maybe, it's a sign that we started talking so that you can go to Bulgaria soon. π
I change my avatar often too. :p I try to be consistent but it's hard. :p

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to swim! My hair usually stops me...and not even that at times!
Lady M,
Would you care to elaborate ...?
When I have my hair freshly done I cant go swimming...but sometimes even that doesnt stop me.
Now I get it π
