OMG! My BFF is a Pisces

I was talking to my bff earlier and it's official, she's a Pisces. For years I regarded her as an Aqua but due to recent events, it's quite apparent that ain't no way in hell she's an air sign...let alone a fixed sign and damn sure not an Aqua.

We used to live together waaaay back when and she had this way about her that if she was upset, where she didn't specifically say or do anything, the moment she walked into a room it was as if a cloud suddenly appeared. Not dark and stormy, just a huge cloud. Those of us who are in the room can go from laughing and joking to instantly feeling uncomfortable, quiet and sad. The moment she leaves, the cloud goes with her and the mood lightens up.

So I did her chart. The reason we were confused was because she's born on a "cusp." Depending on the source, she was either an aqua or a pisces. Anyhoo...

Moon Cancer
Mercury Aquarius
Venus Pisces
Mars Cancer

^ and she has a couple other water placements as well. This is shocking because I never really saw her as emo. In fact, the reason why I identified her as being an Aqua was because she is very much in control of her emotions. Yes, they were clearly there but she is reserved/detached in an Aqua way. Then I remembered this...

Right now my Pisces friend is drowning in a sea of emotions. Where she's normally kiddie pool, it's full on tsunami and she's threatening to come ashore!!! It's impacting her relationships and that's making her even more miserable.

In speaking to her, I think this might have been the first time that she has really connected with the fact that she can unwittingly emotionally blackmail her loved ones. Her withholding of emo is the big wave looming off-shore...the dark cloud that makes everyone unsettled. We all see it coming and sit in fear wondering, "will it come ashore or will it recede?"

Not sure why I'm sharing this other than water signs are very interesting. The level of emo they possess and the manner in which they display it is so peculiar. I can't wait to share this with her tomorrow. Where it's not going to solve her issues, I think it might help her connect with the fact that she can be one big, scary, menacing wave.

ironically, it's actually pretty on point in this case sea. reading it, i'm kinda shocked that it wasn't apparent to me but i've never bothered to do charts for friends/fam. i just normally do it for guys that i like 😛

i can't speak too much on the details of the current drama but the manner in which she has chosen to deal with everything is so "watery." she's actually been in pain for a couple days and today, i guess it got to be too much cause i got the double "pick up the phone now bitch!" ring.

what saddens me is, she's an AWESOME person who would literally give you her last dollar. she's sweet as pie and yet, what she's enduring currently is at her own hand in many ways. she's sad and she's making everyone around her sad and i don't think she can control it. like i said, she's normally in control of her emotions but now she's let it all out and it's not pretty.

my bff isn't temperamental like that. i means she's obviously moody but when she's upset, when i say "cloud"...that's exactly what it feels like. not thunder, no lightening...just a cloud. and you know instantly if it's a "bad cloud"..she's angry with you versus a "sad cloud" where she's just in a mood.

and i think the problem is, she does wall herself when she needs to process her emotions. i think that's natural for pisces but the thing is, when she emerges from her room, if the issues aren't resolved within herself, her cloud comes with her. that's the emotional blackmail i was talking about.

the people around her want to "fix" something that has nothing to do with them. in the end, her loved ones are left feeling helpless and all they can do is ride it out...wait until the wall of water recedes.

sea, it's more that they have TONS of it so they control it. it's VERY deceptive.

they have REALLY high walls so it may appear as if they're rocks. not necessarily cold, just "contained."

they choose to display their well of emotions to a select few. hell, i'm actually the only person who knows how deep it can go but to be honest, i have yet to explore the abyss.

A chart with 0-1 planets in water does not mean the person has no feelings! In fact, they are quite emotional, although sometimes are out of touch with their feelings.

Sounds a lot like my Cancer girlfriend. Love her to bits but her moods drive me round the bend. And she blows things WAY out of proportion.

Sounds kinda similar to me. I have quite a few planets in water, as well. I'm mostly water and fire.

That's actually very similar to Aquas too. Since she's on the "cusp" she may have traits of aqua but still a pisces.

That's why aquas get the familiar feel of 'cold detachment' because of our infamous trait of rationality, logical thinking. (well most of us) but deep down we are intensely emotional. That's why many in history are known as humanitarians.

well i'm biased given i don't believe in "cusps" but regardless, i think the fact that she has a lot of water signs is more the culprit than being born so close to aqua. aquas feel deeply, there's a coolness about them even when they show affection. not saying aquas aren't capable of expressing emo "normally"...actually that's exactly what i'm saying. aquas help the masses but get them mofos one on one and it can be kinda frosty in comparison to other signs.

^that's very much true for me. i think the notion is that someone with a lot of one element would be bursting with that element's characteristics. in fact, i think the fact that we have so much of a particular elements causes us to be a little more reserved so that we can be like the "normal" people.

for myself, i think i do come across as shy and quiet to people who meet me for the first time...especially given i'm introverted. but truthfully, i'm anything but. so i think it's the same with my friend. she appears in control of her feelings and she is...but not with people who she's let very close to her.

I wholeheartedly agree!!! We totally rock and we are fantastic friends! I know my friends mean a great deal to me and I treasure them more than a romantic relationship so I truly try and be the best friends I can be!
