The Leo is seriously pushing my last nerve.

I swear I am going to end up losing it and knocking her the fuck out.

So this morning I slept in. I sent her a text (to her work phone) just before 9am letting her know that I had slept in and would be in around 9.30am.

I gets in to work at 9.33am and am immediately told I need to phone HR to let them know I'm in. I'm like eh?

The Leo says "oh I thought you weren't coming in so I had to let HR know" and I'm like eh I sent you a text. She CLAIMS not to have received it (I have evidence as I have an iphone) which I just KNOW is bullshit. She's just wanted to grass me up to HR basically about being late. Our boss is on holiday or it would have been her I'd told.

And even at that the rule is you wait till around 10am to let someone call in it's ALWAYS been that way, she's away at 9.30am obviously cannot fucking WAIT to grass me up.

Obviously my being nice to her this past week hasn't made a shit of difference. She is pure fucking evil and it's time to take her down.

As of now I clock EVERYTHING she does and document EVERY single coming and going, i.e. all the times SHE comes in late and leaves early.

I am so fucking angry right now. And I have her fat ugly mug sitting right across from me.

I want to punch her so hard right now.

She's now just sent me an e-mail saying she is leaving at lunchtime to "work from home" and that she spoke to our boss on Friday who said it was ok.

Erm how come no-one mentioned this on FRIDAY then when it was agreed? She's only just informing me now, on the Monday, at 10.30am.

LIES.

Our boss is off for 2 weeks so she'll have expected me to have forgotten about it by the time she gets back. It's getting filed.

I am going to fucking annihilate this bitch.

I will be informing her that I am actively seeking other employment and if she asks why I'm going to tell her (although I'm going to have to be careful how I word it/come across).

Fuck it the best revenge I'll have is when I get another job and leave them up shit creek.

That's a good shout actually not saying anything just now. I'm just so fucking mad. I have been nothing but nice to this chick and she seems hell bent on bringing me down any way she can and it's so blatantly obvious.

I've had "issues" in the past with co-workers in other jobs as in people I just didn't get on with and vice versa but never have I felt like I'm being "targeted" by someone.

Here's another example.

We all had our personal portraits done for this artwork project (as in everyone at head office) a while back and this chick was responsible for co-ordinating our teams as in making sure they will all sent off in time to be printed as they were all being put up mural style on the big wall in our main stairway.

So weeks later the "artwork" goes up and guess what? Everyone else's picture is there but mine! She says "oh I definitely sent it they all went together" but shows me no evidence of this (me I'd have still had the e-mail and attachments and been like "there see I DID send it") and I just have a sneaking suspicion she's talking out her ass.

So I call the woman who was managing the whole project who tells me that YES she got the e-mail with our team's pictures but NO there was not one attached of me!

Given we all had a choice in participating in the project it now looks as though I have actively objected and that I am the ONLY one in the team not to have taken part.

I mean seriously, like that wasn't fucking deliberate.

You see what I'm dealing with!

To be honest I've been thinking about moving anyway. I like what I do (I work for a charity) however this plus the fact that my boss is completely useless is pissing me off that much I feel that if I don't leave I'll end up doing time for having someone's head on a stick.

I'm not actually sure how this girl gets away with so much, the starting/finishing whenever she pleases. When I first met her I actually thought she had learning difficulties. I'm not even kidding. I think our boss feels sorry for her.

On the hens nite, there were THREE other chicks there with the same name as me. As a gift for the girls who came to the hens, this bitch made wine glasses. They were all done really nice with pretty flowers and shit. There were FOUR glasses with my name on it... Three of them were really pretty. Mine? It was painted sloppy in gold with messy purple writing of my FULL name (I never get called by my full name) so I was like WTF? that's not even my name! and the bride was like "I only know you by THAT name" 😕

I'll never understand how some people can be so fucking petty.

Honestly I'm just sick of being stressed out about it. Stressed by the way as in angry, I'm not upset about it. So I made a concentrated effort to stay calm, not show her I was pissed off etc. as in putting on a smile and what not. I'm not saying I took her out to lunch lol.

Fingers crossed she gets her ass hauled anyway because she's nowhere near achieving what is expected of her and I know our director is aware of it because she's always over asking her where she's at.

The fact of the matter is, she's shit at her job, slow as hell and lazy as fuck but because we have a dipshit of a boss she gets away with it.

These next two weeks, if I were you, I would make it a point to let the director know when she has left the office. Find a reason to go to the director for an answer that somehow involves the Leo, so when the director asks why you don't ask the Leo = because the Leo isn't here. Make the director realize that you would want to await the Leos return to work, but, then work gets put on hold, and so jeapordizes progress.

If you drop enough hints to the right person .... the situation will take care of itself.

Perhaps, you could also ask the director about taking another photo shoot, and re-doing the wall since your photo failed to make it up. Don't point fingers, don't be pushy .... just ask the question of the director, and telling him/her that you participated in the project but your photo wasn't added, so you'd like to know if another poster will be going up.

In doing that ... the directors attention will go to the wall picture = another hint dropped.

Honestly I wouldn't leave. That's how I am. Im a sneaky b**** though. Leo's are known to be like that especially the females. I have only met two female Leo's and Id rather keep it that way. The only ones I can be around are males. The females are just way too ridiculous for me to hang around. Id wait for any opportunity to come along to get her back. Logging when she is leaving is good because you are able to bring it up like "Oh well so and so wasn't here at X time so I couldn't get Y done". I wouldn't leave though because that would give her TOO much satisfaction.

I'm just so fed up with the whole thing.

It was the 1 year anniversary of my friend's death only a month ago so I've already had that over my head and I've not been sleeping. So much so I've had to get sleeping tablets from the doctor and even at THAT I'm still not sleeping great.

She knows all this too.

I don't care if she feels like "she's won" if I leave I'd rather just be happy instead of feeling like I'm going to rip someone's head off all the time or having to watch what I say wondering what crap she's gonna pull next.

I'm going to focus on looking for another job and let all hell loose at my exit interview.

I won't be pulling any punches where my boss is concerned either - useless fuck.

I'll be making sure the director knows she's just lost a VALUED member of staff (which I know I am from her end not to mention the rest of the SMT who I deal with often and have a great working relationship with) because of the cow and I will be making sure I point out EVERYTHING she's done, which our manager has FAILED to pick up on any of because she's shit.

That will be my "fuck you" to both of them.

There is a ton of crap I could dump on both of them if I went to my director right now but seriously, I can't be fucked. I don't want the grief of having to come in every day and wondering when/what the retaliation will be.

I'd rather do it when I leave. That way I'm untouchable. 🙂

I've decided to just try and ignore her, not give her any ammo against me, and keep my eyes and ears open and document the shit that's not right. I can almost guarantee that she will just decide last minute to leave early most days this week, given that our boss is off and I have just found out our director isn't going to be in the office this week either.

I'm not going to say shit about it now, but I'm going to clock the lot.

So earlier the Leo asks if she can talk to me privately. I'm like "eh ok" and we go into our directors office (as she's not in this week).

She starts telling me about how she's soooooooo tired and never slept last night and sorry if she's seemed distant today (she hasn't btw she's actually been chatty this morning) and I just KNOW what's coming (she's going to leave early) so then it's the "and I was in at 8.30am this morning so even though BOSS isn't in to clear it with I'm going to finish at 4pm today" speel. And all the while she's telling me how she came in early so she could "plan her day better" and how she's "managed to get so much done" thus allowing her to finish early, her face is going red. She's the worst liar I have ever met, she gets all flushed and looks flustered.

She also goes on to tell me that she suffers from "generalised anxiety" whatever that is, and that she is seeing her counsellor on Thursday morning so won't be in until later on.

Now this is all very fucking well, and I'm sorry that you have anxiety issues but can someone explain to me how the fuck that means she gets treated differently to everyone else (i.e. allowances are made) at work? What the fuck am I missing here people?

I have an occupational health appointment (referred by work) on Friday morning because I went over the allowed number of absences last year. Bearing in mind one of these spells was due to having an impacted wisdom tooth removed (i.e. outwith my control) and two other incidents were because I couldn't cope coming to work due to a good friend of mine passing away. So don't fucking talk to me about anxiety!

So while I get my ass hauled she gets away with it all because she's not off sick, she just comes and fucking goes as she pleases so she doesn't need to!

I am so fucking irate and want to punch her even more now. She is so clearly using whatever issues she has to play the sob story card and just do what she fucking pleases as per usual. I'm not fucking having it.

So, day two of our boss being off and she's finishing early again.

I don't give a mouse's tit how much you have or haven't slept (I'm lucky to have had half a dozen decent sleeps in the space of the last month myself) this shit is getting recorded.

I think 'generalised anxiety' is probably bullshit too, doctors will let people pop pills over the tiniest things these days.
Get up earlier and do some exercise ! Problem solved ! Although I dunno if that will help with the piss taking/leaving early. She'll sleep more soundly though.

Honestly I think she's just lazy. I did hear my boss say once something about "yeah best not to ask her to do anything after 2pm I've noticed her concentration/motivation is gone by then" but I think my boss either feels sorry for her or is maybe worried about not being seen as an "understanding" boss.

Revenge Fantasy Number One: Take a screenshot of your iphone message and email it to yourself. Paste it into a document and enlarge the jpeg to the size of the doc sheet, save to pdf format. Find access to a poster making machine (Kinko's, local university, office supply store etc.) and have it printed into poster format 20 x 30 or larger and have it laminated--have several copies of the poster made and hang them around the office. Decorate the office, and put one in the restroom, one above your desk, and one above the water cooler. If that's too over the top, then just make one and hang it above your desk (minimalism is always a sign of pure class 😛). Print the jpeg onto iron-on decal paper and then use it to make a cheesy T-shirt, and wear the iphone message T-shirt on casual Friday. Then pretend she's dropped off the face of the earth. Never speak to her again, unless you are in front of your boss.

Revenge Fantasy Number Two: Type-up a lovely resume for her and mail it EVERYWHERE. I'm sure she'll get many job offers. The sooner she's headhunted away, the better.

Well someone did speak up and the shit has hit the fan!

Yesterday while I was on my lunchbreak she said to another girl in our team (who filled me in when I got back) that she wasn't feeling too good so was going to leave early. This was about 1pm. So the other girl pretty much calls her on it and says well it will need to go through as sickness and then just comes out and says "not being funny but what's going on because you've done this quite a lot now and always seem to be finding reasons to leave early?" and the Leo basically just gets completely defensive about it and harps on about not feeling well and being stressed and her anxiety so on.

So the other girl says well you need to speak to our boss then about getting support and Leo at this point has a bit of a meltdown and literally screams "OUR BOSS IS NEVER HERE!" which is true and we've all felt it. However eh the one day of the week our boss is here she could have said something, or went above her to our director (who is really approachable - although she doesn't stand for any shit) so I do still wonder if she's just been at it but having her bluffed called has caused her to pull a whole anxiety drama.

Anyhoo our HR Business Partner popped up earlier to inform me that the Leo has called in this morning and won't be back next week either, citing "work related issues and anxiety" so it looks like our boss is in for a fun conversation when she returns from holiday!

Questions are going to be asked of all us at some point I imagine as in do we all feel the same way.
