Pisces moon and picking up others energies-

Just curious to relate and event that happened to me once and see if anyone else has had it happen to them. A film I once saw ended on and exhilarating note and I felt the exhilaration. But just as mine crested, I was hit with a powerful wave of exhilaration that rose far beyond mine, (its' a bit hard to describe), and I can only assume I was tapping into the feelings of all those around me.

All I've got is Pisces rising... but I've had small occurrences happen of what you describe...

Sometimes I wish I could feel what you feel. But then, there are times it would probably crush me.

LMFAO! i dont understand why i laugh so much when i'm being ripped on

roberte you and others may not believe this story, but it's true. *shrugs*

i was once sitting at my computer doing some homework (yrs ago). I had a taurus bf at the time that was a long distance relationship.

so i'm sitting at my pc and suddenly i felt a kind of ghostly feeling of someone kissing the back of my neck and pulling my waist to their lap.

because it felt so ghostly yet tender, i immediately thought of him and got worried. so i call him and he didnt pick up. i kinda shrugged it off.

went back to my pc and worked a lil more and then checked my email. he'd sent me this nice poem describing himself doing those things that i had "felt" and it was sent at roughly the same time i'd felt it.

my more recent ex had something devastatingly bad happen to him at work... that eventually led to him losing his job weeks later.

on that very day, i had this awful feeling that something bad happened. when i saw him later that day, i asked him if everything was alright and he started questioning me about if i'd heard anything. i just said "no, i just had a really weird feeling earlier today" then he told me what had happened. pretty severe situation.

this kind of stuff happens to me all the time.

I use to confuse anxiety with it, but now i know the difference. these feelings that i pick up on more or less jump out at me out of nowhere. I'll be thinking that I'm hungry for gummy bears and suddenly I sense something and my thoughts are immediately taken elsewhere. really hard to ignore. my curiosity unfolds the rest.

I have a moon in pisces as well, I pick up energies all the time... it is nice to know I am not alone. I feel brainwaves from people, and with time I have become pretty on the money with when I'm going to hear from someone from my past. It does suck to absorb so much energy from others without any shields, but there are ways to counter it, at least they work for me.

Having good friends that get it helps a lot... it is important to keep in mind that the feelings you are going through from other people's frequencies are not your own, and you are just getting the ripples of their inner chaos, while not actually being connected to it.

It might sound cheesy, but i like to look up quotes that are empowering. Henry Rollins usually does the trick. It is also important to remember that a lot of people exert the type of energy that would affect people like us, because they aren't comfortable with themselves.

The fact that we can deal this regularly, and not lose our minds, shows a lot of strength. Recognize it, charge up, and throw hadokens at them with all of that energy you just absorbed. lol 😉

I think having an Air sun helps centre a lot of it for me. I do notice a lot of similarities between me and my dad but he's double pisces and living in his own world can be an understatement sometimes.

But at the same time I also think the Air sun wanting to rationalize all the feels can be detrimental. So I guess it has its good days and bad days. You know the days where you step out and immediately want to curl into the fetal position and cry for a good 2 hours while eating cookies. In those circumstances my dad just trucks on like a champ.

Movies.. geez... you don't wanna be caught dead with me at the movies. The ring? I'd be the guy who half squints and covers up his eyes. Feel-good movies, well bring a box of tissues I'll be crying you a river and comedies? Just pretend you don't know me when you take centre stage with me when I laugh lol.

So yeah definitely pick up energies from any medium and from anyone. I know for a fact a lot of other signs will probably say this is mumbo jumbo but we're the ones that feel it and we know it's real.

There are definite advantages and disadvantages to it.

i can easily read the emotions in every situation. people will tend to really confide and appreciate you when they see you are an empath and that you are sensitive to their situation.

Yesssssss! I just posted that on instagram the other day. Bought his book "Black Coffee Blues" just so i can try and Channel his Aquarius frequency. I am at the cusp of Pisces and Aquarius, so I have a battle going on between emotion and reason. I have been very introspective in the past 5 years, especially since I moved out on my own 4 years ago, and have come a long way. It's all about getting to know yourself, whether or not it is related to astrology, as human beings we have to get to know who we are, embrace it, change what we can, love what we can't...

I am double Pisces at the cusp of Air, and an Earth rising. I like to think (or better yet hope) that somehow I balance out lol... but hey just like when you exercise your body... strengthening your core is essential to maintaining good form and balance. Think about it. 🙂

And I was telling someone just yesterday that, oddly, I have no problem seeing others for what/who they are-- but I have a very difficult time seeing myself.

I'm also Taurus rising, w/ Pisces moon-- but I have a LEO sun, so yeah, balance can be somewhat elusive.
