Buuuuuuut....... It's all been going so well.

He's coming 8+ hours to town, just to take little ole me on a date. Spine shivers. I has them!!!!!!

I am really, REALLY hoping this doesn't become a lesson to really, REALLY teach me that Gems and mermen can't make it work.

Alright, so question water signs.....

He's here for the weekend, but I also have two shows already (I am in a play) so our evenings are kinda pre-scheduled.

Anyhaps, I was trying to think of something fun to do with him on Saturday daytime. I have from the morning until around 5pm.

Thoughts—??

I was thinking about a drive down to Galveston (I am in Houston), but that's a lot of time wasted taking my merman to the ocean (and not a very pretty one at that). Maybe save that for another time when he comes down and we don't have to be back in town so early?

We do have some lovely parks with water, but man oh man... it's been HOT here lately.

Anyway, what are some things you guys like to do when hanging with your dates?

Oh my.... he dropped this one on me earlier:

Damen, I think I potentially understand your reservations. It's not my first experience with a Pisces, but there are some things that I think make this potentially more fruitful....

For starters, I am a pretty honest person and I don't really have the flighty, easily distracted Gem qualities. Additionally, I have weathered some pretty tough life circumstances which have given me several deep layers. Lastly, while I will never personally understand the Pisces dream world or the constant evaluation going on deep down, I have full respect for it and of course, for the need for personal space for time and reflection.

As for my Pisces, he has a lot of air in his chart and in major placements. We're also long distance so our relationship revolves around constant communication. For instance, in addition to our normal chatter throughout the day, we ask each other one serious, deep question each day. We've made the agreement that no matter how potentially intrusive or shocking the question we will answer it 100% honestly. It's been a lot of fun and something I look forward to. 🙂

One day my question actually WAS about the Pisces dream world and analytic mind. That turned out to be a really neat conversation.

This is still really new and fresh, and you could chalk it up to the blind hopefulness of two people just getting started..... but I have the highest hopes! 🙂
